How Northwood have such good reviews I don’t know ! Horrific from start to finish as a letting tenant . One would guess the reviews are the agents themselves writing them under different names . Let a house for an extonionate price that wasn’t fit for living in . Wouldn’t carry out repairs . Severe mould . Couldn’t use some of the rooms due to this . All repairs when finally carried out were carried out by the owner who had no idea how to repair anything but refused to pay to have things fixed properly . Windows were illegally sealed shut which they denied but stated in the tenancy they were sealed . Gave notice on property , refused us giving the notice due to it being less than a month as we payed rent on a different day to moving in originally . But they accepted this notice the same date the month before , we’d had problems finding another property so had to later retract notice . When it came to check out day , tried to bill us for a light that wasn’t working - as also wasn’t working when we moved in . While in property they sent out contractors to look at mould who northwood still try to charge us for to this day , when it’s the owners responsibility to pay . We moved out 2 years ago ! . Steer clear at all costs , will never use Northwood again . Extortionate rent prices and deposits , which they’ll try their best to deduct from for anything possible . Also the manager is extremely rude at every opportunity and very argumentative

We are aware that you are currently being pursued by a contractor for an invoice which you did not pay when you were a tenant of ours until 14 months ago. When a tenant calls out a contractor for damage which has been caused by themselves, then their tenancy contract stipulates that they are responsible for that call-out and repair cost. You reported a water leak from the attic. A contractor was requested to investigate. There was no leak to be found and it was diagnosed as inadequate condensation management. Therefore under the terms of your contract, you were and remain liable for the bill you have not paid. We wish you all the best for the future.
