In house had done an excellent job of managing the rental of my house so when I decided to sell they were the natural choice. Everyting went well with the sale being completed within 4 months at the asking price . The only negative point was someone, presumably with their consent such as a surveyor, left the patio door wide open on a visit.

We contacted In House because many of the properties in our area had been successfully sold through them, and we have to admit that their quirky 'Too Late' sold signs had caught our eye. Our agent was highly-professional and friendly from our first meeting, and kept us in the loop throughout. They were also able to recommend a local conveyancer, who visits the office on Saturdays, and who worked out well for us. There was a slight miscommunication around the time of exchanging contracts, which was a bit nervy, but all was soon resolved with the help of another agent in the office.
We sold our flat through in house after being unsuccessful with another agent, the team were friendly and reliable and kept us well informed throughout the process.

Came across very dismissive over the phone and emails when inquiring about rental.
Following our sale we received outstanding support from Annie, however overall I wasn't completely satisfied with the service I received from In House and probably wouldn't have used them in hindsight. From the get go I had to chase to get the valuation sorted. Steve was apologetic about this though, and ended up doing both the valuation and photos. Following our sale I sent an email asking for some advice on onward purchases as it was our first time selling and still to this day haven't received a response, despite being assured the team would be on hand to answer any queries we may have about the process. The team were incredibly pushy about us using the recommended solicitors, which were unfortunately a lot more expensive than other solicitors. Even after we exchanged I was still met with criticism about not using the recommended solicitors. I would say if perhaps you are a more experienced or confident seller than myself In House would be a good agent to use.
