Richard and his team at Martin & Co Wanstead are excellent. They have proactively helped us to look for suitable properties and proactive is not a word I have ever used before for an Estate Agent! They never contacted us with anything that didn't fit our profile and even (because we had tight time constraints) suggested we look at something another agent had on their books when they didn't think they had anything to fit our requirements. I have used Martin and Co in Wanstead for the last 4 years initially for letting my property on a fully managed service and more recently for a key holding service. Mike and his team are extremely approachable, friendly and very responsive and I have nothing but high praise for the service they have given me. When there have been issues with difficult tenants, I have found all of the staff very helpful in dealing with problems and Mike himself is very accessible and proactive in handling matters where his input is required. Best agents in the area - consistently set me up to view high quality properties and only items that fit my criteria (other agencies would repeatedly contact me with properties outside of my location / budget scope). I recommend Richard for lettings - very knowledgeable regarding the lettings market in the area, and very prompt in contacting me when something meeting my specification was coming to the market. Very friendly and accommodating when arranging viewings as I could only view outside of working hours. Highly recommended.

We sold our house in Wanstead through Martin & Co. Never before has an estate agent earned their commission so well. Mike was absolutely superb from valuation all the way to exchange of contracts. It was a very difficult sale, as a result of a series of troublesome buyers, with two agreed sales falling through. The third and final attempt was made unnecessarily painful by the buyer. None of the issues were down to Martin & Co. On the contrary, I genuinely believe that the eventual success of the sale process was largely down to Mike's persistence, calm and professionalism under extremely difficult circumstances. I cannot rate him highly enough and I feel that we owe him and Martin & Co a great deal, as we start our new life in a different part of the UK.

Very nice and trusty people. Moving to London and trying to rent a flat without having more than 2 months in UK is a difficult task. I think I was a lucky guy by finding them because in 2 weeks after the first discussion, I moved to the flat. They don't disturb you with anything and they are always there to help you(by phone and in person). All the needed documents can be send by email and you don't have to wait for confirmation because you will have it in no time. I'm very pleased of their services.
