If we had to sell our house again or recommend an estate agent to a friend or family member, they would always be at the top of our list. Selling our house – We shortlisted 3 agents in the area. The other two agents came with a Zoopla market search which they had printed from the website and gave us the Zoopla recommended price for the flat. Gavin from MG on the other hand did his homework, with market comparisons he had conducted himself and details about our property to value the flat. We were a bit hesitant at first as the asking price he suggested was more than we expected, but Gavin secured that price easily. Kat’s marketing material is another level. The photos looked great and she made sure to capture the little details about our flat and made the property look as good as it could. Looking at adverts from Kat vs other estate agents you will clearly see that that there is a big attention to detail and a lot of time taken to sell your property. The viewings were really easy to manage via an online portal and some dates can be put in the system to have automatically booked for us. Buying a house from them – Kat gave us a call to let us know about a new house that she was about to advertise. We would not have initially considered the house from our search alerts, but after the discussion with her, and because it matched all of our other criteria perfectly, we took the chance to be one of the first clients to view the house. We cannot thank enough Kat for thinking of us, and the pleasant viewing experience we had with Sarah. The online portal also meant that making an offer and getting our offer accepted was really easy. We had few hiccups during the process, but MG always had the right advice. We lost our first buyer but Gav secured us 3 new offers within 3 workings days (from when the original offer pulled out, to the new one being accepted). They also use a progression company that manages all parts of the chain to make sure everything happens smoothly, and Gav will jump in when something needs his attention. The rest of the team were also really nice and professional whenever we had to deal with them. All of this for a smaller fee than all the other estate agents we contacted, the zero week contract and the no sale no fees means it’s a no brainer to try them first. We love our new house and can only thank MG for helping us sell our flat and securing our new home.
