We rented from Harker and Bullman for just over 5 years, they were easy to deal with throughout and always answered the phone during office hours. Karen was our property manager and she was always really friendly and helpful. The only thing we didn't like were the 6 monthly tenant checks, these were unconfortable where they stated they "were coming on x day and would let themselves in if you weren't present." It makes it difficult to feel like it's your home but Karen was always flexible with the time as we always preferred to be there rather than having anyone in and having a look around, I feel if you have been a tennant for long enough you should be trusted. They would also benefit from a list of traders on their website that they would prefer you to contact out of hours, we had to do this on two occasions but there was no issue with our choosing. When it came to being able to move onto a flexible contact as we were buying Harker and Bullman were great and communicated well with our landlord and were fair throughout. There were some things we would have liked to have rectified whilst we were tenants, for example we had completely misted up kitchen windows for about two years but this comes down to the landlord and I feel overall we were extremely satisfied with H&B.
