Simply the best.. Better than all the rest......

It is often said that moving house is the most stressful event that you will experience. The process is made stressful more often than not, due to the lack of focus, absence of any kind urgency and general sloth of the other parties involved up and down the chain....... I am so pleased that we chose to instruct Lee to sell our property in Woodley. Our choice to use Lee was based partly on a personal recommendation but the fact that after having a chat with him it was abundantly clear that this chap clearly knows the local property market. He also knows the appropriate 'buttons' to push in order to keep the sales process moving along smoothly. Selling our property (which Lee did in five days and we achieved the full asking price) was the easy part. getting the rest of the chain organised into a ship shape fashion was another matter however...... If it wasn't for Lees professionalism, determine and attention to detail it may never have happened at all. He was continuously communicating with the other agents involved and kept me updated at all points. Despite multiple cases of dodgy information and miscommunication amongst various people Lee kept on top of everything and dragged the whole chain, kicking and screaming to the point of exchange. I cannot emphasise enough how satisfying it is to have had the opportunity to recommend Lee. He dealt with us on such a personal level and really wanted to make everything work for us. At least 11 out of 10 as far as I am concerned........

The most caring, helpful & patient Estate Agent I have ever met: Some words to describe Lee: Kind. Conscientious. Genuine. Full of integrity. Honest. Open. Transparent. Affable. Patient. Trustworthy. I honestly don’t know where to start with this review as it is hard to articulate my gratitude to Lee for all his efforts, or to adequately do justice in describing the 5*/A* service he provides. In the past, I have been accused of being naive, because I always think the best of people and am then often let down/left disappointed later on. This was not the case with Lee; he restored my faith in the Service Industry and is living proof that there are still people in existence for whom the client and their needs come first, work does not finish at 5PM and that if there is a problem that needs to be resolved, immediately solve it yourself if you can, even if it isn’t your responsibility. I had a dream … a certain type of house on a particular road with certain features. I found that house and was sure it was out of my reach, but then I met Lee and I dared to hope that my long-held wish could actually become reality. Then, much like a Disney production, Lee genuinely worked magic … and voila – I’m living my dream. Lee has a heart of gold and nothing is too much trouble for him. Available practically 24/7, even when on holiday, he’s like a wise Father that holds your hand along an uncertain road, patiently absorbing and coping with your panics/worries/stresses, gently allaying your fears and working tirelessly to ensure your wants and needs are met. I always enjoyed speaking with him and remained confident and secure in the knowledge that he understood my needs perfectly, that he was acting in my best interests and that he wouldn’t let me down. I was really impressed with Lee from the outset. Despite the short notice first thing on a Saturday morning (I came across my dream house the night before) and having a full schedule of viewings, he was sensitive to my pleading and somehow squeezed me in. I am certain that any other Agent would have turned me away and I would have missed out for sure, but Lee massively put himself out to accommodate my last minute call. I fell in love with the house straight away and as any lady will understand, I was desperate to have the house at any cost. That said, I knew I would be up against stiff competition and as a first time buyer without a Mortgage or Solicitor in place, it was going to take someone very special to pull this off for me. Going only on my word and his gut, Lee sprang into action and to cut this long story short, he put me in touch with like-minded people to help me and despite the inevitable twists and turns, ups and downs, delays and surprises, Lee was with me every step of the way and got me that house. All this effort when he could have sold the house one hundred times over and I was only a prospective buyer! I have no idea how he handles the emotional rollercoasters that seem to be a mandatory part of purchasing property, but he acts with true professionalism. Since the business is his own, you get a first class service which I very much doubt you could find anywhere else. I can never thank Lee properly for everything he has done for me, and I genuinely feel that I will always be in his debt. Therefore, my hope is that this review serves as a small token of thanks, that many people will read it and get to experience first-hand Lee’s truly exceptional service for themselves; you are guaranteed to be treated as a human being, not a number or a £ sign, a quality that is becoming increasingly scarce. Very thorough, supportive and helpful - would recommend

Lee at Davis Tate was recommended to me by 2 separate friends who had recently moved. He was very supportive and on the ball chasing both up and down the chain, checking the viability of our buyer and ensuring communication was always kept open. He was also very good at explaining what needed to be done at various stages in the process and at all times chased and kept us informed. Without him the process would have been much slower He was far more professional and knowledgeable than our sellers agent and prevented a few potential derailings that could have been caused by the other agents ineptitude. For a smooth and informed sale, I would recommend using Lee - he was at all times helpful and professional and helped to make a stressful time (moving in general) more manageable.

We would not hesitate to recommend Lee Russell at Davis Tate. We always had prompt replies to emails and voicemail. We had many occasions to seek advice from him and always found him really helpful with a sense that the options he discussed with us with were fair for all parties and made good business sense. Our house sale and purchase were not plain sailing and when the deal nearly fell through Lee went the extra mile to get things moving again. Lee Russell has been our estate agent for almost a year. He actually found three buyers for our house as part of a saga that has more twists and turns and "will they / won't theys" than the Greek debt crisis! In addition we tried to buy three different houses during the process of selling our house as our purchases kept falling through. Throughout this process Lee was absolutely fantastic. He is friendly, respectful and professional and extremely responsive – replying to e-mails promptly, even those sent late into the evening. When our original purchase was falling through Lee got to work trying to rescue the deal, even communicating with our seller and other people in the chain when the selling agents proved disinterested in helping. Lee is like a dog with a bone when there is a problem and goes to great lengths to look for a solution. He managed to resurrect the deal several times at one particular point with some very impressive negotiating up and down the chain. At all times Lee kept us updated as to progress. Lee was very respectful of the fact that it was our home that we were selling and all that that meant for us as a family. Because Lee works on his own you can be assured that he deals with matter personally which we greatly valued. We have come across a few different estate agents in our time but if all estate agents were like Lee the process of buying and selling houses would be much easier. With Lee there is a refreshing lack of snake oil salesmanship. If you are looking to sell a property in Woodley we do not understand why you would even think about using someone else! We wish Lee and his business well in the future.
