Avoid, avoid, avoid unless you want the most painful experience which will cost you time, money and a huge headache. I have been both a landlord renting out a property through Briscombe and a seller of a property with them as the agent. Communication is atrocious, you have to nag to get any sort of response. Even then, it’s curt at best and rude at worst. I am in utter disbelief that they are still in business. They will promise you the world then not answer calls or emails when selling, and in the lettings space, if you are a landlord, the tenant can damage your home and yet they will take their side and tell you that you must pay the full deposit back.
