My experience with Martin & Co has been pleasant thus far. It was very easy to reach out to the agents during opening hours and I was helped tremendously by Kevin who had helped me change the viewing date/times for a few times in order to suit my day's agenda. I was met by Kelly Kennedy who has an approachable personality for the viewing. She was very willing to answer the enquiries that I've had in mind. As a student, renting a property can be very daunting. This however was slightly dissolved by the reassurance that the agents will be guiding me with the matters that I may need to know. I rent out my Aberdeen flat via Martin & Co and have been impressed by the high standards of the property management team. My property manager, Kevin Barr, is excellent - extremely responsive, very professional, and a pleasure to deal with. My property had been on market for sale for about 3 years, little visits and no offer/bid at all from Aberdeen market. During a year our previous estate angent made no contact with us except an email at the beginning of a year to suggest us to drop further the sale price. Recently we decided to try to rent it out. During viewing the property, Maxine introduced the legal requirements to rent out a property, e.g. to register as landlord and the safety tests/certificates. But what impressed me most was Maxine's professional view into Aberdeen rental market, and her understandings for its future. All of these observations were supported by data. Following Maxine's expertise, some customized changes were made in the property to suit the needs of people. Then Juliet took over and started to take care of my property, guided all the necessary checks & certificates, and managed the view from potential tetant. It was to my great surprise that Juliet informed me the property had been rented out after the 1st view within 1 week after the property was put online! During all the communications Juliet showed her an enthusiasm for caring the landlord, the tenant and the property, answered all my questions even it may not be related to the current tenancy, bridged the distance between my tenant and me and made us understand each other better, you could naturally feel that professionalism only comes from years' endeavor to reach a higher standard. From Maxine and Juliet I can see Martin & Co. Aberdeen is a great professional team with great enthusiasm. They know the value of my property more than me, they are confident at what they believe.
