Worst letting I've ever agreed with a letting agency charging you ridiculous fees for documents and "doing something" and then, once you actually become a tenant, they don't bother of looking after you, being always after the Landlord and leaving the tenant unprotected. Lots of mistakes on the Check-In inventory. Stay very well away from these people. I will urge anyone who's got an issue to always take a lot of pictures of everything before walking inside the property and leaving it. I was lucky to save the 95% of my deposit because of my own knowledge of how despicable this people do operate. Even if it took long to have the deposit back the adjudicator decided on my side, after all the mistakes made and an abusive landlord who tried to get almost 700£ as deposit.

AVOID!! I am totally shocked how Martin & Co manage residential properties and conduct their business as a 'supposedly' professional letting agent. Spoke to the Derby office and was addressed with 'Yeah, yeah' over the phone by Jordan? Asked to speak to the manager and was informed there is no management available as away until 27 September 2016. Then called Martin & Co Head Office in Bournemouth and spoke to 'Hollie' (Holly) who informed me that she was the Lettings Coordinator and proudly explained "I'm in charge of EVERYTHING!!" Yet when the very first question was asked of her, which was is Martin & Co a member of ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents)?, she never had a clue what I meant or was talking about! She (Hollie) then directed me to her manager Hannah who rather conveniently was suddenly not available. Third call and emails sent to a Mr Tony Moore at the Milton Keynes office was met with similar unprofessional and totally unexpected responses. When asked a number of questions, Mr Moore who claims to be the managing director of the Milton Keynes branch refused totally to answer any questions and to my shock and absolute horror took it upon himself to declare that he didn't feel confident enough to take on my properties as he didn't feel Martin & Co, in particular his branch, could be able to meet my expectations as a private Landlord and Property Investor. Unbelievable! How can an alleged 'professional' company state through its own self admission that they do not feel they are up to the job? I intend to submit my findings to my local MP in the hope that new legislation can be brought in to the Housing Act 1988 that filters out and removes these rogue letting agents from our high streets. Take my strong advice, together with the advice of others, and avoid Martin & Co. Look elsewhere. Thank you for reading.

BEWARE!!! they will not look after you once you move in i.e making sure faults are fixed and the worst is AT THE END OF TENANCY THEY WILL COLLUDE WITH THE LANDLORD TO TAKE ALL YOUR DEPOSIT.

People that works in the Bournemouth branch don't look after you at all, I've been reporting an issue on one of the toilet 2 months ago that has not been sorted out
