I am extremely disappointed of Martin & Co Chelmsford. They've managed to overcharge me for unexisting check out fee and they overcharge every tenant with cleaning fees plus all type of charges they could posibly get. You cannot reach them when you need them and they are not correct when promised to resolve a problem as they do not even try, they just want your money pretending they care. I was happy when I start my tenancy, however Martin & Co bulied me and cost me tremendous amount of stress at the end of my tenancy. Be careful when you buy or rent any property with them as they seems very nice people ready to take your money and not listen to your requests or needs at all. They are changing staff every day and you will end up not knowing who is dealing with your property. Did I say they took almost all of my deposite and they do not do Inventory check corrcetly so when you enter your new home make sure ypu have evidence of everything. Do not trust them!

I can confirm that my company has not overcharged you a fee, This was also verified by the DPS adjudication results. I have sent you a statement or your account to show all the payments in and demands due which hopefully will assure you that you have not been overcharged. I am sorry that you are not happy with the DPS adjudication results. This is an independent service and the decisions are binding on both parties. We also use an inventory and checkout clerk to give an unbiased opinion of the condition before and after your occupation. Avoid at all costs - I had a terrible experience as a tenant and am still trying to get my deposit back. They also charge a £60 admin fee to talk to you about your deposit!!

Hi Danielle Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry that you feel time over the last 2 years in your property was terrible. Both myself and Emma Roberts, the Branch Manager, have tried to call you and email to discuss your review, without success. The admin fee levied wasn't to talk to you about your deposit but to facilitate the works required after your vacation. I hope I have answered your points and again sorry that you felt this way. They are horrible!! We have no washing machine for 1 month. But they do not answer anything. They not help.

Hi Timea I am sorry to hear you feel this way. I have tried to call you to discuss your comments and spoke with your partner last week about it. I have looked into the repair for your washing machine and can see that we have been speaking to Your partner throughout the repair process. Unfortunately your landlord decided to replace the machine himself which resulted in the delays and they were out of our control. My property managers were constantly chasing the landlord to chase the company with little joy. I spoke personally with your landlord, expressing your unhappiness with the repair and have secured compensation due you for the inconvenience. They would not issue a receipt after I paid them cash...
