Very professional
Great service from start to finish special mention to Debbie who chases solicitors etc was challenged several times with issues but delivered a great service in the end and kept us upto to date from start to finish

A very professional Company
I was selling my late mother's property and interviewed various local Estate Agents, whilst all were good Jacksons stood out with their local knowledge and sheer professionalism. The whole process has been smooth with regular updates and giving me the feeling that I was in good hands. A big thank you to all the staff who have made the whole experience enjoyable and I would thoroughly recommend Jacksons.

Debbie Mead
After a very long sales process, with breakdowns of chain, withdrawal of sale etc. Debbie worked her magic and made it all happen. She is so amazing nothing seems to phase her. If it wasn't for her I don't think we would have moved. She is so committed to her clients and is a very understanding person. Debbie is wonderful with communication and keeping you updated at all times. She goes above and beyond her role. We couldn't have wished for a better person than Debbie to have dealt with our move. So much support, we appreciate all those calls and emails.

Estate agent recommendations
We recently sold and purchased another property through Jackson & Co of Colchester, we have to say they were very helpful and assisted in any way they could through both the process of selling (having been let down by other agents). They also helped us find a good solicitor and removal company. We also purchased another property through Jacksons and they were always available to help throughout the whole process. Would recommend them to anyone that is looking to sell or buy.

Very professional service
Jackson’s we’re very good at getter prospective buyers through the door. I had my house on the market with other agents and nothing was happening. They made a real difference and were supportive during the whole process.

They are not the best but they care
i won't say they are the best agency in the world but I have to admit that they care for their tenants when I faced a problem they fought tooth and nail for me they gained my respect and gratitude They have minor problems that are solveable and most of their problems are just results of the shear amount of work they have to deal with on a daily basis stay in their office for 20 mins to get a feel of that any way they earned a good review from me and will never forget how the stood by my side Ps if you ever have a problem you'd want Lucinda on your side

Lovely, hardworking staff
My contact with all the staff working within Jackson's was always positive and they could not have been more friendly, hardworking and thorough. I was disappointed that the valuation made was high above what was achieved, but understand that the market was in flux at the time.

Poor service
Very unprofessional agents and service. It took almost a month to move into an apartment that was promised to be ready long time ago. If something is broken , They say that it doesn't fall under top priority, so basically prepare to wait for a long time to get stuff fixed. Overall poor customer service.

Ignorant, rude and discriminatory.
Whilst looking for an apartment in a specific area, it seemed as though all of the apartments were owned by Jackson and Co. I requested further detailing as to their availabilities and left them a message, but ended up calling them because I hadn't heard anything in return. The female on the phone had an attitude straight away. I told her that I was enquiring as to the availabilities in that area and she ruthlessly and patronisingly told me that there would be no houses anywhere near the area that surrounded the university. I could tell by her tone that she was purposely offputting towards me but I'm still very unsure of why. I, no where near as bitter as her, just went along with her, allowing the estate agent to feel powerful for a few minutes as I submitted to her attitude as gracefully as possible. Something didn't sit with me. I then asked my mums partner to try for me. Who happens to be a middle-class, Caucasian male. And magically, the very same apartment is now available. He's to call back to arrange a viewing. I'm a professional. I'm respectable, I work, as well as go to the university in that area and I certainly can afford to live there. I'm not from England so it's not as if it could have been a personal problem. Poor show from them. I'm not sure what about me warranted this kind of treatment but it has left me feeling out of sorts so I hope that they are thrilled at the slight suspicion that they have sparked within me, which has me wondering what I possibly did wrong.

Awful staff and awful service
DO NOT USE THIS LETTING AGENT!!!!!! Jackson and Co were okay at the start when I enquired about a property. I travelled 2 hours to view the property to get to Colchester and be told that they had just let it to someone else. They conveniently had another property to show us which was a higher price and pressured us to pay the fees in order to not let this one. Once they received our money they completed changed. They did not return phone calls when promised, ignored texts and emails, and never passed messages onto the desired person. A vast majority of the time, the person who answered the call was the person I wanted to speak but they were pretending to be someone else and that the desired individual was out of the building or engaged otherwise. We were left weeks at a time without having heard anything from them and no one returning our phone calls. We were due to move the first weekend of January but had not heard anything from them since the middle of December. We had to drive to Colchester 3 times in order to get something sorted, which was still unsuitable and the property we deemed to be dangerous. Thankfully we got our money back and will never use this property agent ever again! We advise that you do the same.
