Took me 3 weeks to get my damage deposit back, even though the landlord copied me in to all emails requesting back in full. Didn't respond to emails or call/messages. Would never use again for renting a property

We bought our house through John Alexander. The whole process was stressful from start to finish. During the 6 months it took to go through we had no correspondance and were not kept updated. We had to do all the chasing and each time we rang up we spoke to a different member of staff who promised to pass messages on but didn't. When we raised this issue they didn't believe us. We would never use John Alexander again. Be aware.
