Asked for an evaluation as i am selling a flat for my brother who has MS and can no longer do such things. Dominic arrived and offered nothing constructive at all, asked what I was looking for and shut me down flat, offered his hand and walked out. I thought it was the estate agent who was supposed to be helpful. This company certainly aren't. I def cannot recommend them. Just awful.

Fully managed property management with streets is as bad as ever. They are expensive but no quality and no response from property manager(most of the time).

Street ahead are one of the worst Property Management companies for tenants I have ever come across .They will Breach the tenancy agreement when they see fit or can not comply with it but do not admit to it. My advise if you are thinking of renting a property from these people is DONT !! they will rip you off given half a chance !! It's a negative star from us. One of the worst agents to deal with. They definitely take advantage if you show interest in a property through them and make you beg for it. I had an extremely bad experience With them. Also there seems to be racism in their dealings. A thorough analysis needs to be done in such cases as they are not transparent on the deals. This message definitely needs to go to their top bosses.

Worst experience ever. From day one of me making an offer on a flat to rent and paying the holding fee, it was nothing but hassle. They obviously don't communicate within their team as I would receive phone calls from 3 different people, telling me different things. The referencing and credit check were complete within 2 days - I received a call from the company running the checks telling me everything was perfect and we were good to go. However Streets Ahead were telling me otherwise. On the day we were due to move into the flat, we received a phone call. This is while we were driving on the motorway to Brighton to collect my boyfriend's stuff. Telling us that we wouldn't be able to move into the flat today because it hadn't been cleaned... We were later told that it was because the tenants hadn't moved out. So many lies and confusion. The next day they said we could move in - we turned up and the flat was filthy and still hadn't been cleaned. They said we would not be able to move in until around 10pm that night. All this drama left a bad taste and we withdrew from the deal. WORST AGENCY EVER. They completely messed up what was meant to be a fun time for my boyfriend and I.

I was trying to rent a studio flat in city house from this company. I gave them all needed documents and all was fine and I paid the holding deposit as well. I didn't know what is going on because no one contacted me. I was traying to call them about for one week, but no one answered. She called me one day before and she told me that I am to young and I am not gonna get that studio. That was unprofessional and I do not recommend this lady at all. Thank you to make me almost homeless.

Hello Mr Sikorski, Thank you for your review and i am sorry that our service did not meet your expectations. I have spoken to Daniel Thornton who has been dealing with this matter . Although in this instance it was the landlord that made this decision not to proceed , i am investigating this further. Kind Regards, Gary O'Hare.

Everyday I have to hear from my mum all the rubbish this estate agents cause her. They lost her the last Tennant's from their inability to actually manage the property. I'm fed up. UPDATE: I am absolutely disgusted by their so called "customer service". The disgusting language I have heard them to use while on the phone to my mother is jaw dropping. I think they forget who the customer is. If you want a less stressful experience in dealing with property, avoid this estate agents at all costs. I would give minus stars if I could.

Called twice this week and both times hung up on because they could not understand me

Rude and unprofessional staff. Spend more time listening to their voiceover saying that they are the 'best small estate agents', and getting passed around to multiple staff than actually receiving any service. Staff come across as rude and untrustworthy.

By far the worst estate agents I've ever dealt with. The degree of unprofessionalism they display is horrific and I regret ever renting with them. My partner and I have been renting from the 1st of December and have had nothing but trouble from them. It's remarkable how, before I signed the lease, I was pestered with calls and repeated emails urging me to rent a property with Streets Ahead. As soon as we signed and handed over our deposit, we heard nothing more from them. We were constantly passed from person to person when we tried to enquire further with regards to our moving in. When we eventually received the keys to the property we discovered that the house was in an utterly disgusting state. It was evident that NOTHING had been cleaned. The toilet seat was completely broken, ELEVEN lightbulbs needed to be replaced. There were clumps of hair on the floor, congealed food glued to the fridge and unwanted junk (including a pair of dirty socks, thanks) that the previous tenants left. I've attached images for your viewing pleasure - please do admire the vacuum cleaner, which was purchased that day and was used to hoover just the bedroom. We immediately wrote a detailed letter outlining everything that was broken/required repair and requested that the house be cleaned to habitable standards as we were due to move in that weekend. We heard... nothing. The next day we tried to call the office three times. Each time we were told that our property manager - Kelly Alleyne - was on another call, but would return our call as soon as she was free. We heard... nothing. We then went to the office the following day (in the middle of trying to move) to speak to the manager, Kunal Patel. He certainly made all the appropriate noises, claimed Kelly was off sick the day before (?!?!?!?!?) but she would respond to us the next week. No apology was made for the state of the property, no remuneration offered. I did indeed receive a message from Kelly as promised (I have come to learn, this is a miracle) assuring me she would call later. SPOILER ALERT. She did not call. I could go on, but I'm sure you get the picture. We have been emailing and calling for TWO MONTHS trying to sort out the most basic of amenities. It took six weeks to receive an inventory checklist which was promised to us the day we moved in. We eventually received compensation for the mess we found the property in, but all the repair work they promised would take place as not occurred. We currently have no lights in the bathroom or lounge and barely any light in the kitchen because we are waiting for repair work to be taken out by Streets Ahead. However, as Kelly as ignored the last six emails we have sent, I doubt this will happen. AVOID STREETS AHEAD AT ALL COSTS ** Helpful Hint ** If you are a current tenant renting through Streets Ahead, and have trouble with them, contact the landlord directly and make them aware of the situation. They're an appalling company who don't deserve any business.
