Very disappointed and very poor service. Took our details regarding a property we were interested in. Drove 50 miles to visit a property which we liked and we put in an offer above asking price. Informed Ted that this was not our final offer. Was told that they will get back to us . Just saw that the property was taken off the market as it is now stc. As a company I do not see how they can say that they pride themselves in being proactive with customer service. As usual we had the spiel from the sales manager Peter Cuffaro about how on the occasion they have not delivered good service and offering his apologies. And that there will be many more properties coming on the market soon as if after all this we want to do business with Intercounty. Apologies do not replace the time wasted . It is companies like Intercounty that give an unfavourable reputation about Estates agents .

Having unfortunately been unable to contact you I just wanted to confirm I have investigated this situation with the branch. Certainly there were multiple offers which is more common place now and we do not like to give anyone bad news when they have seen a property that they wish to buy. We have very strict processes which ensure the owners are presenting with thorough details in respect of all offers so they can take a balanced view and make the right decision. The agent does not have any authority over which offer will be accepted however I understand that in this circumstance that the owners chose a party who they felt were a better fit to accommodate their required timescales. Without question should anything change we will be back in contact likewise we will do what we can to try and suit you with an alternative property.

Very disappointed. Took my details re a property I was interested in which came off the market. Never contacted me to let me know it was available. Now sold. Clearly do not act upon their promises.

Terrible service. As a tenant, I constantly have to chase the agents. It took 2 months to get some spare keys, 6 months to renew a renting contract, they don't tell you when part of a deposit has to be refund due to a change of the regulation and so far still waiting for the rest of the deposit to be secured. However when they need something it has to be done immediately, like paying the £500 if admin fees.

Avoid at all costs, if I could give them no stars I would! They don't complete the inspection checks as promised and look after your property. Do not use their recommended conveyancing service premier property lawyers as they are totally incompetent.

Worst ever agency I have seen, they charge you for doing a check out inspection £120.00, don't do repairs when reported, took off our £347.00 for damages that where made up while the check out report from the so called independent company, said the house was left in a "good and tidy condition" We felt discriminated they kept asking for our immigration documents every time, while we had submitted to them, 1 month before moving out they started looking for stupid reasons to keep our deposit. My advice is stay away from this agency.

This agent has a raft of huge fees that cannot be avoided when starting a tenancy, renewing a lease, or even checking out. They also assist the landlord in attempting to keep as much deposit as possible before you eventually lose the will to live. Locally known as Interc*nty. Avoid.

Awful customer service. If I could give them less than 1 star I would. The manager at this branch has been a complete pain to deal with. We have had to chase her several times for a response and when we do finally get one she comes across as very unhelpful and rude on the phone. Good luck to anyone who goes with them as their fees are also extremely high and unrealistic. No other estate agents have treated us this way. AVOID!!
