You never find out how good a company really is, until something goes wrong usually. The boiler in our house just stopped working about a month ago; which is never good in the colder months. Whitegates and most notably Gemma, organised to get an engineer out to us by the next day and a little less than a week later; we had a new boiler. She kept us updated throughout over the phone and email and not only that; she also arranged to drop some heaters off so we wouldn't be cold in the house! Not only that; she called us a few days later; just to check that we were ok! Awesome... I was staggered how good the customer service was - having experienced a boiler that needed replacing at a previous house we had rented from a different letting agency in the past (which was a total knightmare) the difference in how Gemma and the team handled it was "night and day" with our only other point of comparison. Gemma is truly one in a million, this weekend she has gone above and beyond. Not only dealing with the practicalities of dealing with a leak in my rented property, getting someone out on a Sunday afternoon to deal with it but also continually checking in on me to ensure that I was okay and keeping me informed about what was happening!
