Terrible company, will take a booking and not keep it.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! This place is a shambles from a buyers perspective, they will book you in for a viewing and accept offers from other people, all whilst telling you there are no viewings available until next week. Absolutely useless.

Despite willing to make an offer on a property I was told I needed to attend a block viewing. When I chased up my initial query I was rudely dismissed and unprofessionally spoke to by what was supposed to be a supervisor. Probably best using another agent these clearly do not care

Sorry, I would be under Lauren Northorpe. Just heard of an experience from somebody else who had the same lack of communication as I DID. This is the reason for my review. For example, we rang you guys on a mutilple occasions in regards to sale of the property. Got told I would get call back this (this never happened) was dating back to July 2019. Also still waiting to this day for the call back in regards to the white goods in the property. Took the initiative to go straight to the seller to get the price. Didn't get any where with you guys. Months later after Completing our house it was still showing on your website for sale.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

My partner and I moved into the property on 23rd October, when we moved in there was a lot of mess which we had to clean up (not sure if this is the Landlords or Estate agent responsibility to clear up). There is also building rubbish in the garden and front garden which has still not been moved although we have been told this should be cleared before we moved in (it has now been 4 weeks of chasing) The radiators at the front of the house aren't working which the Estate agent has called 5 plumbers out (all of which advised the same issue of a power flush) I got a phone call today for the 6th person who should be able to fix the problem. I am writing this review because I have tried to communicate with Hegartys even prior to moving in and I'm shocked of the lack of communication they have provided and updates. I work from home full time and have done since April so the last thing I need is the stress of chasing up progress. Terrible experience.Not a professional company.We were treated shoddily .It appeared they were limited with the truth day after day and kept our buyers mortgage saga ongoing for two weeks when there was never any chance of mortgage approval.This caused us a lot of stress and anxiety as well as losing the house we wanted.We asked for our for sale sign to be taken down and our house to be taken off the market and a week later it is still up.This is not how you treat people it is a disgrace and I would NEVER recommend them.

You couldn't get worse service, following the death of our mother we had the property valued by three agents, we choose Hegartys seaham as this is who our mother dealt with during her purchase 10 years ago. The photos were terrible, the floor plan was incorrect and made the small bedroom appear to be the larger one, the description described a small bungalow as "deceptively large". After two weeks on the market They called advising people were stating the bungalow was too small, I advised them to change the description, which they never did, I also advised they floor plan was misleading and this was never updated, They suggested we change the advert to a guide price which I agreed to. I then noticed they had dropped the asking price by £10,000 pounds. 2 months after putting the property on the market with them we sent them updated photos and asked them to update the website. A further 3 months after this they called to advise no one had viewed the property for 3 months and we needed to drop the price again Hegartys valued the property now the want it price dropped by £20,000. A few weeks later we start to get calls asking us if we would like to put the property on the market with them. Enough was enough and at 5 months we gave them notice, the day they were meant to stop marketing the property I had to contact them again to which they replied saying sorry they had missed the notice as someone had been on vacation. We also asked for a copy of the EPC we paid £90 for and have never received it The property is now marketed with someone else, the photos, floor plan and description are perfect, we average one viewing a week on and have someone interested, pending offer on their property, after 3 weeks. Hegartys sales team still call us monthly to ask if we would consider marketing our property with them, I have never been party to such incompetence from any business, they should be ashamed of themselves. Update within two months of being on the market with another agent the property is sold stc without the huge price drops
