I’ve been a tenant with Ellis & Co for four years, and unfortunately, my experience has been consistently disappointing. - Appointments are unreliable — more than once, they either didn’t show up or cancelled last minute. - Emails are rarely answered; I’ve have to call nearly every time just to get a response. - They use the cheapest contractors, and the quality reflects that. One handyman even told me a proper oven/hob install wasn’t possible — I ended up fixing it myself. - The staff are often rude or misinformed when I speak to them, though I’ve heard they’re much more responsive to landlords. The only reason I’ve stayed is because I’m on great terms with my landlady — but if you have a choice, I’d strongly suggest looking for a different agency.

I did not have a good experience with this agency. Communication was not smooth and unluckily I experienced bad landlord, never as before in my renting life. They are using Section 21 to refurbish they said. I entered the flat and the electric shower was not working, cold water, no pressure. Cold water from the kitchen sink for 2/3 months as too old fixtures. I had a mice as well of course. I had to deal by my self with that. Be careful with your choice.

Avoid like the plague. For anyone interested in the state of the property we rented from them, I’m happy to share the check-in inspection report. Not much has changed since, and they don’t seem to care.
