I called them to ask if small pets are allowed in 2 rental properties I am interested in, instead of checking with the landlords to confirm, the staff who picked up the call was just making guesses on if pets would be allowed and said they would ask the landlord after viewing and application, not considering that I have already told them I am based on the Wirral which means it would cost me 8 hours for the round trips and train tickets to get there possibly viewing properties that would not be available to me in the first place. And after clarifying that repeatedly, the staff was still very reluctant to check but finally agreed to do so.

Poor service, only concerned about the landlord and not the tenants. rented an apartment with appliances but the fridge doesn't work, has been 3 months and still not working. They keep saying landlord can't do anything. No communication from the agents, have to chase them up several times. worst experience ever

The worst experience of a lifetime! They are only concerned of protecting the landlords interest! If you ever buy or rent a property please be aware there will always be the fine print....invisible print I should say as our contract had no mention of any of the things that were thrown at us after we asked for an early release from tenancy! The agents don't really answer the question directly...most unprofessional! ...they just rattle out the clauses repetitively....not helpful at all. So protect your ineterst...read your contract carefully....dont just expect them to tell you your various options....dont make the mistake of thinking they are representing your interest as well as the landlords.....insist on any additional things like a breach clause in the agreement before you sign the document.
