John Payne in East Greenwich have been stupendous in making our dreams come true. We needed to move from London for a number of reasons, and wanted to make our new home in Whitstable. Throughout a tortuous process, with a sale in another part of the chain falling through and assorted issues in the chain above us, Nick, Susan and Lucy were not just relentlessly proactive, but clear in everything, always available to talk, and so positive that we knew it would work out. They even got us into our little cottage by the sea in time for Christmas. We wouldn't be where we are today without everyone in that office.

Sold my property in East Greenwich with John Payne. Whilst there were a lot of hiccups and delays along the way with the conveyancers, buyer's broker and lender the whole process was very well held together by Sue Denny at John Payne. Sue took ownership of the end to end propery transaction engaging both converyancers, the mortage broker, the other estate agents and underlying parties. She and her staff were able to provide emergency access to the property when I was absent and even arrange for last minute removalists on the day of completion when the firm I had commissioned failed to show. On my opposing purchase transaction I was using an online estate agent and the difference in standards of personal accountability and competence was significant. I would highly recommend John Payne for handling property sales especially for complex deals requiring finance and extended chains.
The service in John Payne in Blackheath is absolutely fantastic. We are really glad for their help and support. Helpful and friendly staff. Very helpful estate agents (Aaron) who kept us really well informed and went the extra length when there were issues.
If there was a 6 star rating, I would have given it.... Having worked with Sue before I was keen to use John Payne again because I was working away from home whilst my property was on the market. The move also involved a long distance relocation and I needed to work with an agent I could trust. That said, the point where Sue and all her team really pulled the stops out was towards the end on the sale. The chain lower down became very challenging and nearly collapsed...twice! Lucy, my main contact, was an absolute superstar, exceptional. Without her, I doubt the move would have happened and my sanity would certainly not have lasted. From phoning round for new removal companies to keeping solicitors on their toes, it really felt like Lucy cared about the sale and the stress was shared. She went above and beyond and I'm very grateful to now be settled in my lovely new home. Their rates are also competitive.
