Moved in today. House is in a shocking state. Will change review if it improves. Got the keys yesterday and spent all day cleaning. Have emailed but no response.

Absolutely unprofessional agency, they re-arranged a viewing for a flat twice with the excuse they had to move the viewings day and that no one would view it until the last arrangement. They contacted the next day to cancel the viewing appointment as “the flat was rent by another agent”. Better stay away, unreliable and unprofessional.

Unfortunately, when dealing with multiple properties owned by the same landlord and coordinating with competing agencies marketing them, there can be occasional challenges in managing the availability of these properties. We strive to communicate promptly and effectively in such situations to ensure a smooth experience for all parties involved. We appreciate your understanding regarding the letting of one property by another agency on Thursday. Although we are not responsible for their actions, we always aim to keep our clients informed about any changes or updates. As for the second property in the same block, it seems that circumstances beyond our control have arisen due to tenant requests to not allow access and the subsequent letting of the property by another agency. We do understand that this may cause frustration, but as a reputable agency, we must adhere to legal obligations and respect tenants' rights. We have instructions from the landlord of these properties not take a deposit prior to a perspective tenant viewing the property in person or via live video viewing. We value your interest in viewing these properties and would like to work with you towards a suitable resolution. Please let us know if there is anything further we can do or if you would like assistance in scheduling viewings at alternative properties. Once again, please accept our sincere apologies for any inconveniences caused by this situation.

Most unsupportive and unprofessional company I have ever encountered. Moved in to a house that was covered in mould and had to request the property be cleaned on numerous occasions only to receive a leaflet claiming the mould was down to condensation. When the mould was finally cleaned by a contractor the work done was cheap and shoddy and problems resurfaced almost immediately. Then when it came to moving out we were requested to have the house professionally cleaned, which we did and they came back saying the house was not cleaned to a professional standard supplying pictures they took of the mould and other issues we came to them with at the start of the tenancy. We were then charged out of our deposit for uncleanliness, even down to 1 grain of rice in a cupboard even though we had the whole house professionally cleaned. The deposit was only returned after constantly emailing and asking them for it 22 days after leaving the property. DO NOT USE THIS MONEY ROBBING COMPANY.

Please look at the other 1 star reviews before renting a property with these people as I just looked at the overall rating and over looked them!. If my review can help deter at least one person and prevent them being in a situation like mine it will be worth my time writing this review. The property wasn’t in great condition and was dirty on arrival however I was told I could leave it in the same state on exit so I hope they stick to there word on that. I rented the property in September which got damaged by a storm in November, it’s now nearly March and there is no date in site for repair as there is no electricity and a missing bathroom ceiling. I have been in air b n b’s, hotels and even now emergency housing for weeks on end digging deeply into my own pocket because the landlord will not rehouse me or provide any compensation they basically just said I don’t have to pay rent but that’s it. It’s IMPOSSIBLE to find anything short term for less than £300 per week and that is bare minimum it’s more like £500 per week (my rent is £650pm) . There communication is poor, I find every member of staff in there property management team extremely rude and I still don’t have a glimpse of light at the end of this very long stressful tunnel. No customer service and no tenant protection whatsoever it’s by far been the worst experience of my life dealing with this company.

Now that all repair work to the roof is complete, the landlord’s insurance company are arranging for a contractor to make good the damaged cladding and plaster work, this will then pave the way for the repairs to the damaged electrics. The repairs are going through the Landlords insurance company which takes control away from Manson’s; however, we are continuously chasing this with the landlord as we aim to resolve your situation as soon as possible. Your rent has been returned in full since the situation began and the landlord has agreed to release you from your tenancy agreement as the events that took place were beyond your control. Your initial request to be released from the tenancy was agreed back in December 2021 and still stands until the issue is resolved. It is regrettable that the landlord’s insurance company will not provide you with alternative accommodation. In the meantime we have provided information to the council in the hope that this will assist you with temporary accommodation, and we will continue to find ways that we can help you. Again, we do apologise and appreciate this is not an ideal situation, but we will continue to do all we can to expedite the repairs with the insurance company and continue to keep you regularly updated.

Terrible company to deal with, inflexible & uncaring

Hello Dawn, we are sorry you feel our service fell short, a request was made to change your booking at one of the self catering properties in Beadnell, initially this was not offered to you but after a few communications with our bookings manager (2 days after the initial enquiry) and once travel restrictions had been imposed by the government it was agreed to rearrange the booking to 27 Mar – 3 April 2021 at no additional cost. Later you decided to ask to change this date to the 24th October 2020 which fell into a higher price band, you did not want to pay the premium for this more expensive week, our bookings manager offered you the week after this at the same price of your original booking but you chose not to do this. Fully appreciate the initial response about your booking was not favourable, but this was remedied quickly once travel restrictions we implemented by the government, I also understand the inconvenience caused by Coronavirus pandemic on your holiday which certainly does not help in this time of great uncertainty. Happy to discuss any of the above further by telephone should you wish to.
