I recently moved to Oxford from North Wales. Martin & Co made it easy. I rented a place which was being refurbished. Unfortunately, since I was living away from Oxford, the first time I witnessed the end product was the day I moved in. Obviously this was a bit nerve-wracking, as I was unsure whether the end-product would be acceptable. As an overseas student, I have been previously burned when trying to rent places I had yet to physically view. Luckily, Martin & Co handled everything splendidly. The room looked great, and the few quibbles I had were taken care of immediately. I'd recommend them to anyone, especially those trying to rent from a distance.

My partner and I recently rented a flat through Martin & Co. The initial experience was rather mixed, but Cheri asked for a meeting with the Manager and made clear what we were unhappy with and everything got sorted out, with no ill feeling - which was impressive. Once we had signed the lease and moved in, I was unsure what they would be like. Enter Charlotte Stephenson, who is their property manager.  Our standard of service went up from 3 star to 6 star. My case was pretty urgent as the college notified me really late that they don't have any accommodation anymore. It was literally two days before arrival. I immediately contacted letting agents in Oxford and Luke was the friendliest one amongst all of them. He helped me settled everything in less than two days. He would constantly contact me just to keep me up to date with the latest progress, even after office hours. So I'll finally have a place to stay tomorrow and I won't be homeless all thanks to Luke from Martin & Co.

Having been with a poor local agent for a couple of years, I invited Richard around to appraise my flat. He has been nothing but honest, friendly and professional since we met and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Even now that I live further afield he is always willing to provide advice and assistance if I need it.

My experience with Martin & Co. was great and it came as a relief after a long and time consuming search for a place to live in the city of Oxford. Immediately, as I had our first conversation with Mr. Rober Westell we have arranged a viewing for a studio flat in the very center of Oxford. The flat was brand new and met all the specifications. Robert's continuous guidance and assistance made it possible to apply for the studio. I was guided through the filling of the forms until final agreement and signature of the contract with the Landlord. Everything run smoothly and nicely. Robert was very willing and motivated to provide a solution to every problem that I felt full of confidence and went ahead for the agreement. Overall I classify my experience with Martin and Co. and in particular with Mr Westell with whom I had the chance to meet as a letting agent, a great experience and I strongly advise anyone to follow my example for hassled-free letting agreement and house finding. Look in the illustrated Oxford English Dictionary under "Customer Service" and you'll find a picture of Bob, Clare, Sue and the team from Martin & Co in Oxford. The whole team are a delight to work with and I have done so since they started up in 2005 (I think!). What sets Martin & Co apart from a number of their peers is their attention to detail; the understanding they possess of what matters to their landlords and tenants and their ability to exceed the expectations of both with, what appears to be, consummate ease. No request, enquiry or question is too much trouble for them and they are a sheer delight to work with. I highly recommend them.

Martin & Co have provided a good service so far. The house I am moving in is newer and better maintained than most student houses you can find in Oxford. Rob Westell has been professional and helpful.
