Very friendly customer service, renting a room in a shared house was a very good idea and Martin & Co provided a great value for money.

I live in the US and am moving my family to Oxford for a sabbatical year. Martin & Co was incredibly easy to work with from overseas. Samantha Grimes, the letting agent, was responsive, on-the-ball, clear about everything, organized, and always cheerful and friendly. I recommend Martin & Co, and Sam, for sabbatical rentals and others moving from overseas to Oxford.

Martin & Co have let a couple of flats on Oxfordshire for me....they are efficient and extremely helpful. I have appreciated their advice on rent and on finding suitable tenants quickly. Staff were friendly and prompt at getting back to us and making sure that we understood all the steps that were going to be taken. They were able to clearly manage our expectations of properties and were honest as to the pros and cons of each, working to read our likes and dislikes in order to cater for us the best they could. When we ran into difficulties with a credit check agency, staff were sympathetic and moved quickly to rectify the situation. Thoroughly recommended!

Hi My husband will be attending The Said Business School this coming September. With being in South Africa - I was not sure how we would find accommodation in Oxford to suit our needs. I sent through a request on the Martin and Co website and got a response from Sam - a letting agent from Martin and Co. Sam responded to me within hours of my initial query - and within days I had secured and apartment for my husband and I that met all our specifications. Being from South Africa - I was not able to view the apartment. Sam put my mind at ease and went to the apartment and took recent pictures of he apartment to send me. She also made recommendations to the landlord of what needed to be done - in order for the apartment to be handed over to me. (Cleanign etc). Sam was great and she described the apartment and all the furniture to me in detail. She was my eyes. Sam is one of the friendliest and most efficient rental agent I have ever worked with. She responded to every single one of my emails - answering every single one of my questions. This was all done within minutes of me sending her an email. Sam I thank you for all your help - and if anyone needs help to find any accommodation in Oxford - you will be highly recommended to them by me. I could not have asked for better service. I was looking for a new flat in Oxford, UK that was both affordable and relatively close to where I work in the city centre. My contract at the old flat was about to expire, and I was a bit nervous about finding a new place in so little time and with long working hours. I dropped Martin & Co an email stating my preferences and price range, and got a reply with about 3-4 apartments to look at. I booked a viewing for 2 of them, and put in an offer for the one I liked. Within a week, all the paper work was taken care of by the agency - all I had to do was show up and hand in the contract with the required payment. I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a place to live!

I recently rented a house with Martin and Co and was impressed by the excellent customer service and straightforward renting process. I needed the property a few days earlier than the official starting date set by the landlord and they negotiated this for me. All of my questions were answered quickly and clearly. The fact that most of the paperwork could be done online was particularly convenient for me. Definitely recommend them.
