Avoid !!!

When leaving the property, we sent an email informing that the property was empty, and despite two attempts to follow up, heard nothing from the letting agent for the following 28 days. When they finally did get in touch with us (after another attempt by us to reach out), we were told that cleaning had been arranged at our expense, without asking us, (and, incidentally, that the property had been undergoing renovations while we were still paying rent, I've no idea if that's normal). When we attempted to question the cleaning charge, we were informed that if we did so, they would not be willing to end the tenancy early, and would seek an extra £400+ in rent from our deposit in addition to the cleaning. At this point we gave up the argument and agreed to pay for cleaning that we did not believe was necessary. I would never let a property that was managed by this agent again. Oh, and while we were still discussing the deposit return I was asked to delete a previous version of this review.
