Absolute disgrace. We lived in a flat for a year and for 7 of those months we had mould (through the winter can I just point out). Due to this being a problem with the building the landlord was responsible for getting it sorted and through no fault of her own was struggling with this as it was factors that maintained the actual building itself (APEX another joke for another review). However we were left with coughs, colds and I struggled with my asthma which I've never had to use an inhaler for years for. We also had a week with no electricity due to this damp which left us with a full freezer and fridge of food we had to chuck out and replace out our own pockets. Then an electrician or whoever Martin and co sent put a hole in our bedroom wall and removed the socket there resulting in us losing this Heater for the whole winter. We left on what we thought was good terms considering the crap we had put up with and given them time to sort. We left the place immaculate with nothing but two doors valued at £50 for both and a broken mirror which came off the wall and hurt my boyfriends foot as he tried to gently tighten it to the wall which it was lossely hanging from and they trying to charge us £90 for cleaning and £185 for damages!!! Absolute joke you try to be so nice and understanding and thats what they hit you with... I can tell you its not happening. over my dead body are they robbing us of money we need, I'll be fighting this you thiefs.

Ignore any positive reviews about this place. The jist of there operations is as follows. 1. Advertise property2. Sucker someone into renting it3. Have a ton of faults with alsorts of things which are and aren't alluded to in the report.4. Wait for claim on deposit then search through house with fine tooth comb and blame tennants for anything from dirty washing machine drawer to shite carpet which couldn't possibly be tenants fault. 5. Place a claim on deposit totally disproportionate to claims and say you need to go to court to dispute them. In short they are a mafia run joke. DO NOT USE. Waste your hard earned money on hostels for 6 months if required and avoid this like the plague. Can honestly say its more satisfying getting mugged. And I have so take if from the latter is prefferable.

I would score less if I could please avoid this place at all costs! The property we moved into was lovely although Martin&Co are a complete joke! We payed our rent in full every month when it was supposed to be payed and where good tenants. They promised to repair the back door which never happened also promised to clean round the side of the premises which also never happened. The real problems started after we moved out when it came time to get our deposit back. We did break the kettle which would obviously need replaced and I did melt the handle on the grill by accident, apart from this we should not have had to pay for anything else. They tried to charge us for a floor which was already damaged by previous tenants and I have no doubt they kept the previous tenants deposit because of this, if the floor was already damaged by them then they should of had it replaced for new tenants coming in and obviously kept their deposit and didn't do the repairs! They said we would get so much of our deposit back and where gave the round around for months and I believe they done this to waste time as the deposit gets held by a scheme safe deposit Scotland to make sure these crooks can't do this with your deposit but they only hold it for so long then return it to the letting agency now the time has run out and the deposit had been returned to Martin&Co and now they are saying we have not to receive any of our deposit back! Making up lies saying we didn't pay rent and their was damage to property etc. Stay away from these people they are nothing but crooks also went onto their Facebook page and left several reviews which all got deleted by the letting agency which proves they don't like the truth and don't want anyone else to what crooks they are so be well aware of this company and just stay away, they are more hassle than their worth. We now have a lawyer involved and we'r glad we have moved to a new property with an amazing landlord not like Martin&Co with all their false promises and theft of our deposit and lies! Hope this helps anyone who is looking to go with this lot, they are not to be trusted ;-)

These people are crooks and liers they refuse to give deposits back e when we even fixed things in the house when we first moved in out of our own pocket never go near them shoking company false promises and lies

Absolute disgrace of a place, avoid at all costs. They are happy enough to take your money but when they owe you they don't give it back, BEWARE.

Absolute joke of a company , stay clear !! This company should be shut down they are in no way professional and scam people out of there deposits should be ashamed of themselves

Seriously all these 5 star reviews in 1 day!! Joke of a company! Not giving people deposits back even though they spent their own money on your property! Give them their money back!!! My uncle (an ex soldier) also had problems as he was dumped in a run down smelly flat and was told to deal with it!

Avoid this company at all costs. Terrible service to its customers, and is an absolute joke. Shame on you Martin & Co Paisley. Dont deal with them people, Dont give them your business, take it elsewhere. Disgusted by this company

I woudnt reccomend to anyone. Their customer care policy's don't exist and they ignore your calls emails etc i know people still trying to get deposits etc back .Exploiting young families & conning them out of hundreds of pounds which they need .No I woud not reccomend this company at all to anyone .

It's funny how you had no good comments until yesterday and why are you deleting the bad ones? Your customers or potential customers need to know that the company is a disgrace and can not be trusted. My sister has been waiting months for her deposit back. You can keep deleting the negative comments but we will keep posting them.
