Excellent sale

I was going to use a normal High St agent to sell the property I had let through Northwood but Colin said that they were starting to sell more properties. I therefore used Northwood and the sales went through both quickly and at the asking price, plus I did not have to have any really active part in the process. So an excellent service which I would high;y recommend

When I first contacted Colin at Northwood Peterborough, more than 6 months before the sale I was not yet ready to put the house on the market and just needed advice and information. Colin listened to what I was asking, answered questions and advised, but then waited until I was in a position to proceed and did not hassel me. (Other agents I spoke to did not listen to my valid reasons for waiting to market the house and have hasselled ne constantly since to try to get my business!) We were in a difficult position trying to sell a house from a distance with a tenant and Colin made this easy for us going above and beyond the normal estate agent service I have experienced in the past. All for a very competitive fee. I was very impressed. Thanks for everything.

Colin Chapman has overseen the rental of my property for the passed 5 years, and the eventual sale of my property this year. After my first meeting with Colin, I was impressed with Northwood's Platinum guaranteed rental scheme as it meant I didn't have to worry about tenants moving in/out of the property, or failure to pay rent on time etc, as it was all covered by the guaranteed rental income. I found Colin's evaluation of the property to be reasonable, and he clearly explained his valuation based on the property's location, and the type of tenant's he would expect to rent the property etc, so it all made sense to me. Unlike some other agents who I met with, I also found Colin's approach very personable and not at all pushy - allowing me to make my own decision when I was ready. Throughout the rental period, Colin and the rest of the Northwood team have been extremely helpful in managing the property. They kept me upto date with every incident that occurred, such the latest gas inspection, or any repair work that needed to be done. Colin was extremely helpful in sourcing local contractors to complete any repair work. I am based quite far away from the rental property, so Colin's knowledge of local tradesman saved me a lot of time and also a lot of money as he always managed to get the jobs done for a reasonable price. When I decided to sell the property, Colin helped me to value the property, and helped me to structure a plan of action in order to make the property easier to sell. Colin explained to me when the best time would be to sell the property, and we devised a plan of home improvements in order to help sell the property. The property sold in approximately 1 month, and Colin helped to negotiate the price that I wanted for the property. Colin has continued to keep me in the loop every step of the way, and I am hugely thankful for the support he has given me. If I was buying, selling, or renting another property in the area I would definitely be getting in touch with Colin. I am hugely thankful for all the help he has given me. Northwood have been excellent throughout our tenancy. Any issues have been resolved promptly and with no fuss. The staff are so friendly, Colin in particular has been so helpful in assisting us and we really appreciate his efforts in securing us our full deposit back.
