When it comes to renting privately These estate agents since COVID discriminate people more than they've ever done, but they do it cleverly. I have no respect in them whatsoever, and some of them really think they are somebody when they're not, they're just stuck up estate agents. They play by their own rulebook. I know this from somebody who works on the inside. Somebody that's not on the dole, but who is mentally ill with mental health issues, won't even get a chance of renting a property because in their rule book you're not working. Somebody in that situation is more stable to pay rent than somebody who is working.

My experience is no response from them to emails or phone messages. Ignoring requests to view properties. Unprofessional.
Really terrible experience with Belvoir who failed to address serious and dangerous problems in the house. We pointed out damp, dripping wet walls and a horrendous amount of black mould so many times but these were never dealt with. Rude, offensive and always had someone else to blame for shoddy work or not taking action. So glad we were able to get our own place and move out, staying any longer would have been a death trap.
Don't answered their phone, don't respond to voice mails or emails
Poor management. They don't seem to care. We found a really great agency locally. Glad we made the choice earlier on before instructing them to sell our house.
