Disappointed with service. Applied for rent twice, no luck in both cases. First case - I was first as an applicant, issued the fees to, like they said make sure the property is booked and can’t be taken by someone’s else then agency gone quiet. Emailed them after 2 days of no feedback to find out where I stand with the property, but it turned like unfortunately I can’t have it as landlord gone for someone’s else. Took them 3 days to return my money...I asked if I can be informed about other places to rent in the same area and similar price and standard but received completely different offers houses/ flats to rent. Much more expensive. At the same time I reviewed their offers to find out that there is a plenty properties to rent in exactly same standards I asked but yet no one bothered to let me know. I have applied second time, had to wait half day for feedback to found out that the property already gone...even though, it’s still available as property to rent..I feel like I am ignored..looks like the agency is dealing with British market only..

These guys rent a house to a man that has stood and threatened to beat up a lady in her 40s that has had below the knee amputation on both legs due to sepsis , because he was screaming and threatening his girlfriend that much she knew, she had to go help the poor girl. 4 houses in a row, 3 bought, 1 rented, 1 has moved out and left house empty, 1 has house on market desperate to leave, and the poor disabled lady just dreams of it not happening. There tenant last night parked on my drive, he wouldn’t answer the door, to move it, I parked my van at bottom of drive, I woke up this morning to my passenger side window smashed and my van rolled into a wall!!!! This company are happy to have unemployed no mark losers claiming benefits and ruining people’s lives.

This business could improve by closing. GDPR, offering a service to tenants not just landlords, and basic humanity are all places they are lacking.

Terrible service not helpful at all . Wallpaper has claw marks all over it and these so called managers have simply said he doesn't have a cat ? Because he says so ? We are out of pocket because all the photos of the damage , dirty carpets , ripped walls , dirty cat lit in the bin stinking and oven , smashed light fittings ! All This after paying Martins to manage !not management of our property is the word they say we will get £60 and £55 as the tennant who must have pooed in cat lit and not the toilet ! Does not have a cat so we can pay as Martins are not capable . If you want them to manage your property please don't as they leave you hundreds of pounds out of pocket like they have with us . Terrible firm ! They have been worse than the tennant as we honestly thought that they were looking After our interests and they do not !!! I will be finding out who I report this terrible firm to ! They would have seen the cat that he didn't have if they had checked the tennant in the house as they promised ! Check .. what check ? They didn't know they were even managing it . If you want to protect your property and get compensation for damages caused DONT employ these ! We are totally gutted , when we thought that by paying them to manage it they won't they have been absolutely terrible and when I got annoyed I was told not to speak to them like that . Try losing 100 pack hundreds of pounds because of their incompetence and see if they lose their temper. The best they have come up with is Lonsdale blaming Martins and Martins blaming Lonsdale ... please don't fall into our trap . All our properties are now elsewhere !

Martin & Co - Bradford. Absolutely total load of rubbish, The staff are anything but professional, communication skills are non existent. They lie through their back teeth, never call back, make you out to be liars. On going issues with the state of the property, never get the builders in to rectify problems and just make excuses. They treat you like a child and talk down to you, very condescending to say the least, Happy to take your money and talk nice until something goes wrong. Avoid at all costs and go to a professional Estate/letting agency. Feel free to listen to a recording Ive made from a phone conversation with someone called Denise then decide if you want to use them. Just ask.
