Would not recommend anyone to use Martin co saltire as for 6 months we had to fight for holes in the roof to be repaired and damp to be resolved 3 different times they had to come out to fix radiators and just bodged them up and just left me with a damp and run down house and then at the end of all this they charge me for dehumidifiers they had took back and refused to admit this so I ended up having to pay out for them aswel as trying to charge for issues that was made up and cleaning the house even though I had provided proof of a cleaning company doing this just as I left and dps agreeing that the house was perfectly fine

We are sorry to hear that on this occasion you were not pleased with our service, unfortunately due to poor weather conditions the three roofers we tried to appoint were not willing to go onto the roof for safety reasons. In January we managed to instruct a roofer to carry out the work but due to a backlog of appointments due to the bad weather he could only do the work in February. Unfortunately as we did not receive the dehumidifiers back at the end of your tenancy the cost to replace these is your responsibility. As you disputed this we went to the ADR with the DPS, the DPS adjudicated that the cost of the dehumidifiers should be refunded to us. Once again we would like to apologise for any distress this has caused.

Usless and they do there best to rip you out of your bond make sure you take pics with dates on when u move in and out slow repairs i didn't have dates even though i had pictures they wouldnt take them because of no date

Hello Lorraine, we are very sorry to hear you were unsatisfied with the service you received. Until now we were unaware of this as we have not heard from you since you moved out over 5 months ago. We believe the deductions made to your deposit were proportionate, reflecting the damages made to the carpet and bathroom sealant. Unfortunately we were unable to accept the pictures provided by yourself, as we have no way of knowing when these images were taken. We always provide new tenants with a full inventory when moving in, we allow tenants up to 5 days to add anything we may have missed (such as damages) to the inventory before returning it. We would never overcharge a tenant and we did return the majority of your deposit. Once again we are sorry if you were unsatisfied on this occasion. Can These management people explain to me why the pics of damage in every room is called fair wear and tear by them ? I wait their excuses sorry explination . Also the damage down the walls . If not a cat then this has been damaged by sharp objects , a knife ? . This being the case how is it fair wear and tear ? When first ringing to say keep their bond a rude woman said ... we are not managing your property I haven't seen your flat , I would have remembered ! Some managing property ! Reason the walls and smashed up property are fair wear and tear Martins please ! Bill £385 so far excluding smashed light fittings and filthy carpets ext extra ext

Still waiting for deposit from this terrible firm ,am into another months wait for money towards a flat that was trashed by a tenant and I Should get the deposit to assist in repairs but not from this letting ? Agent who have no idea what properties they are managing who denied even letting it ! and have been terrible from day one ! Have reported them and sought advise as to where we go from here ! Will keep you all informed Latest DPS say that they will only deal with Martin's regards our getting the deposit back for a trashed flat which we should legally receive towards Martin's failure to look after our flat .Martin's say they that they will not deal with us as we were rude when they stated they didn't look after our flat ,even though they were wrong and rude ! So we have had taken from us £500 towards over a thousands pounds of damage even though this is illegal ! I will continue to keep you informed as this case progresses .thanks all

Been with them 8 months, ended up with 13 visits so far, for different reasons. Took 7months to fix lights, Todays saga, our kitchen cupboards have fallen down, theyve sent someone to remove the cupboards but arent sending anyone to replace them until next tuesday, because they have a single contracter. They hang up on you, talk down to you and act like theyre doing you a favour letting you live there, despite the fact that you're paying £600+ rent per month. They are without a shadow of a doubt the worst estate agents ive ever been with. Additionally- in one of the previous responses to reviews, they said they always provide an inventory, we never got one,so i would query this.

Disappointed with service. Applied for rent twice, no luck in both cases. First case - I was first as an applicant, issued the fees to, like they said make sure the property is booked and can’t be taken by someone’s else then agency gone quiet. Emailed them after 2 days of no feedback to find out where I stand with the property, but it turned like unfortunately I can’t have it as landlord gone for someone’s else. Took them 3 days to return my money...I asked if I can be informed about other places to rent in the same area and similar price and standard but received completely different offers houses/ flats to rent. Much more expensive. At the same time I reviewed their offers to find out that there is a plenty properties to rent in exactly same standards I asked but yet no one bothered to let me know. I have applied second time, had to wait half day for feedback to found out that the property already gone...even though, it’s still available as property to rent..I feel like I am ignored..looks like the agency is dealing with British market only..

I am really sorry to hear your comments and assure you we got both applications at the same time so to make it fair we put both to the landlord so he could choose. The reason it took three days to get the money back to you is because it takes that long to get through the banking system. Sadly we received an application for the property you enquired about this morning so we hadn’t had time to take it off the market.
