Rented a property from these for 4 years, when we moved out we had the carpets professionally cleaned, we cleaned the property from top to bottom, and then got a phone call to say there are some pet hairs on one of the window sills....we was charged £90 for the privilege of somebody to wipe the window sill, I would never do business with this firm again, absolute joke, you live and learn I guess
****AVOID**** 1 star got given because obviously I couldn't give none! I could go on and on as to why DDM are so bad but unfortunately people only take notice once your facing it yourself. (Exactly what I did) So today. My next approach is trying to seek attention this way Because It seems I have probably spoken/emailed everyone at DDM and nobody seems capable of returning my bond to me after 1 month of being out of the property.... Lets see how this goes..
How disgusting of you as a professional business. I viewed a property on Lloyds avenue and expressed an interest in living there. Only to be told 7 days after applying that the landlady doesn't want me living there as I have three children?! Surely that's discrimination. This was after me chasing for the last week also. I was told "the landlady can decide who lives there and she doesn't want you as you have three children" I work, I have a well paid job. My children are well behaved. So what on earth is the issue? DDM. You are a terrible, rude, snotty estate agents and I will be warning people off you in the future. You have just spoken to me as if I were a second class citizen. How dare you. You are lucky I am not taking this further. Tell the landlady that she needs to rethink her morals and I find it disgusting of her for refusing a house to someone because she has children. How petulant of her to even suggest such a thing. DDM. I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU RETHINK WHICH LANDLORDS YOU GO INTO BUSINESS WITH. SHOCKING!!!!

Avoid at all costs to rent from these people! I have complained numerous times regarding a property that we still rent from the company (we can't get out of our contract even though the landlord has agreed we could) we have now vacated due to being totally unsafe and too cold to live in! Due to me expecting a baby we had no choice but to find elsewhere to live. (Faulty electrics causing plug sockets to set alight and many more issues as reported to the office numerous times).... finally an engineer was arranged to visit but never turned up, when I went into the office a lady I spoke to called the engineer who admitted they didn't have time to attend but didn't call to re arrange, when calling DDM back a few days later I was then made out to be a liar being told by a very rude lady that they had attended and left a card! When handing the notice in we were told they would advertise the property as we can't end our contract until another tenant is found which we were totally fine with as we had signed the 6 month contract. They have now advertised the property wanting more rent when the property is not even safe and the problems have not been dealt with! There has been one viewing which I had to deal with and the problems were picked up immediately by the viewers! The staff at scunthorpe are rude and argumentative when u call they tell you they will call you back and never do I spend most of my time chasing them as they say they will call back and never do.Do not rent from this company. They are an absolute joke!
So disappointed with the rental dept. Despite being very interested in a property and having an excellent credit history and owning my own business for over 20 years Ddm failed to even return calls relating to the property. Very very disappointed in their un professional manner!
