Hello Thomas, I am sorry to hear that you have not been happy with our service here at Fit Property. I would like to address some of the issues you have mentioned. Firstly, with regards to the property not being ready when you moved in, the washing machine not being plumbed in and the property not having internet set up are not reasons we would consider serious enough to stop you moving in on the day your tenancy started. The issues were rectified in a reasonable time frame. The ongoing discussions regarding your request for compensation have unfortunately continued much longer than we would hope due to you being unable to agree a compensation sum that is reasonable for the small amount of inconvenience at the start of your tenancy. Fit Property have always managed this property, your discussion regarding the compensation is the only element that was passed onto the landlord to liaise with you direct. Hello Aaron, I am disappointment to read this review. I am sorry that you feel that, as an agency we did not attempt to help with this situation. As the landlord employed the contractors to renovate the property, Fit Property had little involvement with the refurbish, we did not manage the property until after the renovation was completed. Each time a complaint was made we contacted the landlord and he addressed the contractors immediately. I believe the landlord made contact with you directly to apologise on behalf of the builders and bought you all a peace offering as a good will gesture. Again, I am sorry you do not feel that this kind token was acceptable. Best wishes for your future.
