Sophie Johnson is an absolute gem. She goes above and beyond in order to assist with the purchase of a property. Through no fault of Martin and Co, My purchase took over 10 months, and should have been a simple transaction. Without Sophie chasing up solicitors on an almost daily basis, then the sale would almost certainly have fallen through. We used Martin & Co as our letting agents for years and were always happy with the service they provided. But the 5 stars are particularly for the excellent service we received when they managed the sale of our property this year. Their communication was fantastic, it always felt like they were right on top of things, doing all they could to keep the sale moving along (when the seller's solicitors were dragging their feet!!). We dealt with Sophie Johnson. She provided great help and support throughout. Nothing was too much trouble for her and whatever she did, she did with cheeriness and such a positive attitude. A real pleasure to deal with! As someone very experienced in dealing with estate agents all over the country for the last 40 years I can honestly say that Sophie's and Martin & Co's level of service and general dealing with the sale was the best I have ever experienced in that time and I would unhesitatingly recommend them to anyone looking for an agent in the area. The circumstances of the sale were difficult in many ways but everything was dealt with graciously and effectively. Really outstanding!! Only pity is that Martin & Co's ways are not those of all estate agents and that their services are not available nationwide.

I am a landlord and have had two studio apartments with Martin& Co since 2006, with their fully managed service. During this time, I have found the service to be very good, with helpful, proactive staff. As a responsible landlord, any problems with an apartment which they flag up are dealt with by their local contractors at reasonable rates. Tenants to my knowledge (and more than one has stayed on for several renewals) have been also happy. For investor landlords like me, that are busy and want a hassle free service, I would highly recommend Martin & Co at Sheffield.
