I took 1 hour off work to view a property I phoned to say I couldn't find the property I was 5 mins late down to this and the estate agent had left completely wasted my time this is not good for bissness feel very let down by John shepherd estate agents
An awful experience. Lots of misinformation both on website regarding the properties to let & inaccurate pictures. Once viewed misleading information about the property. In my opinion, avoid at all cost.
Disgusting service. Avoid at all costs. They think you are beneath them. Very discriminatory and don’t return calls. They have the same excuse for about 4 properties. Shocking!!
We have been fatally scammed by this "agency". WE DO WARN EVERYONE before proceeding with them, as the problems never arise before signing the contract. It has been an absolute nightmare since barely a year ago decided to move somewhere else. Our minimum stay was over by then. They have completely stolen our deposit, leaving us in a critical financial situation after having a baby and both of us lost our jobs because of Covid. As an example, they quoted £900 for a job that can be easily done for £100 (we indeed found many contractors that can prove this). We have been completely helpless. Please, stay away from these unethical and heartless people, they can ruin your life as they did to us.
Awful awful lettings. They accepted my application for a rental, then didn't return my calls about it. Turns out they had been waiting for a better candidate to come along. Very very immoral. Really bad about communicating. It's not nice to mess about with people's livelihoods and place of residence and further make them feel like a bad person. Now I have to search for a new home.
Rented an apartment from them for 2 years, had the curtain rail fall off the wall just missing my 1 and 2 year old! massive holes in the walls, mould around all windows and on walls had to spray them at least 2 times per week from September till May, stains on all carpets living room bedrooms and hall ways, cracks in the bath panel and mould in the tiles round the bath. Moved out 01/11/2020 this is when it all happens! they have taken more than 10 days for my deposit, apparently someone was off on annual leave - surely another worker should take on there work? i have a bill for a cleaner as there was dust on the skirting board (they done the check out 1 week after i moved out so bound to be) i have already sent them the cleaners certificate confirming the apartment was deep cleaned, i have also a bill for cleaning the chairs (again cleaned by my cleaner) they are also trying to bill me for mattresses for the beds i didn't use and stored in the garage as per the landlord and they we full of mould and rats when i went to put them back i called landlord as didnt want to spoil the nice clean carpet i had just paid for. he advised this was ok but now JS are trying to make me pay for them....errr no landlord knew his garage was not secure or air tight so bound to happen sorry. i have not had a thank you for getting the stains from the carpet as my cleaner managed to get them all out and on the check out there is no mention of the 'old' stains?!?!?! also i have filled the holes left by the falling curtain rail and painted so it looks brand new STEER CLEAR i will be writing this same review on every available platform as they do not deserve your money!!!
Lovely to work with when getting you into a property, as soon as you're in you'll be abandoned. If you flag something up for maintenance they will ignore you unless you refuse them access when they want to enter the property. Will absolutely rip you off when returning deposit. £110 for cleaning after you clean the place top to bottom. Leave it a mess and at least you'll get your money's worth.
Poor, poor attitude. Young lady was not interested in servicing my enquiry. Seemed more interested in getting me off the telephone to do ‘more important’ things!?! Shocking attitude......as though discussing my needs was way beneath her. I would name the young lady but she knows who she is. My experience only reinforces the opinion of the other two people who have left reviews for this office. The management would do well to address the attitude of certain staff members.
Email via right move, message left on answerphone and message left with person who eventually picked up the phone. Are these people really interested in selling your house? I’m trying to view and no one calls back let alone arranges a viewing! Maybe selling subliminally - definitely not using traditional methods of sales or customer service.
