Rude, dishonest, unprofessional, childish, aggressive, threatening, cocky and arrogant

We gave Lee at Berkshire Estate Agents one of or houses to let in December last year. At first, he was positive, complimentary and quite personable. However, as time passed, we soon began to realize that he is nothing more than a poor salesperson who thinks he is wonderful and has no substance behind his arrogant facade. He kept telling us that he had a tenant, although no-one ever materalised, then after 2 weeks of marketing the property he tried to convince us to drop the rent, then he tried to convince us to accept a dreadful tenant who wanted to pay less than the quoting rent, give a smaller deposit than we wanted and wanted to keep several animals in the house and he eventually found a tenant after 3 months and after we told him that we would be instructing another agent. Despite multiple requests, he failed to send us details of the tenants references, failed to send us his fee agreement and failed to send us the tenancy agreement. Then, to our total and utter surprised, he moved the tenant into our property before we had even seen the tenancy agreement! The tenant was unaware of this and was also outraged, especially since they had paid Lee the rent, deposit and a substantial admin fee. When we eventually did see the tenancy agreement, it comprised several clauses which were totally unacceptable to us. When we questioned him on this, and aked him why he had allowed someone to move in without a signed tenancy agreement, he started to get rude, aggressive and threatening. He also took the rent and deposit money from the tenant, without telling us and without sending it to us. We had to instruct solicitors to deal with him and to try to resolve this matter which cost us £1,000 and Lee eventually backed down. We managed to convince the tenant that the agreement would need to change and after 2 weeks resolved this issue. However, Lee still refused to send us the money which the tensnt sent him and so we are now suing him. We own 100 properties nationwide and have never ever faced a situation like this. It is a disgrace and this guy should not be allowed to practice estate agency.
