Dear Leah, Unfortunately as a result of an independent inventory clerks report which concluded there to be issues with the property, dilapidations were required from your deposit for repairs. As an agreement could not be reached between both parties you were within your rights to raise a deposit dispute with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (Independent Government approved scheme) for arbitration which has been recently satisfied to both parties.

The property in question is not a house of multiple occupancy, it is a building made up of four completely self contained flats. The four flats are under the management of Michael Anthony and you will find are completely compliant with current regulations. Following your very brief unannounced visit to our office, leaving no name or contact information for us to respond we immediately made contact with the freeholder to confirm all relevant compliance paperwork is in place for the communal areas, main building and structure. Should you still have concerns over the main building we suggest you raise these concerns with the freeholder. We will be passing the slanderous comments onto our legal team.
