Poor at getting jobs done.

We're sorry to hear of your experiences, Darryl: we're not perfect and as humans will make the occasional error. When we do, we own up to it and we work hard to resolve this. I'm not sure however you found the right company to review: as I said we always try and learn from our error, but I have been unable to find our records as a client of ours. Feel free to get in touch though.

To renew our lease we agreed a 2 month exit along with a list of jobs required to be done. The jobs were not completed or bodged and now unable to use our bedroom whilst the job that should of been completed is being carried out. Not a care seems to be given tbh

Dear David, We've tried with all our might, but the jobs you asked to be done earlier in the year were completed, and not related at all to the leak from the roof. Unfortunately, the leak from the roof required scaffolding because the roof was unsafe for the contractor to access using only a ladder. The scaffolding was arranged in a matter of days and the leak was repaired within the week; a response time we are happy with.

These people are so rude on the phone. I was a potential client and was met with unprofessional, cold behaviour. I really liked one of the advertised properties, but because of the horrible service I chose to look elsewhere. Hopefully, potential landlords will see this and choose to be with some other agents if they wish their property to let out in a timely manner.

We understand that this is never easy to hear; at the same time we would not want to offer potential tenants to apply for a property where we know they would not pass the landlord's criteria. Avoid if you want your deposit back. Unfairly took third of my deposit and the deposit protection scheme took their side! Collusion. Gave 1 star as the agent who showed me around was great but the rest cannot be trusted. Edit Pathetic response from yoursleves just shows the unprofessional level you will stoop to. I complained few times about the toilet waste from upstairs flat overflowing into mine but you did nothing and now you're using that to personally attack me is ridiculous! Saying that there was bodily hair and small smudge of paintwork in the cupboard doesn't justify £225 to clean it, this is all comes under general maintenance. Even your own independent check out report said the flat was clean As for the the 'independent' adjudicator, they awarded you the deposit by default and not in agreement as their all important email went straight to junk mail which was asking to send the proof in via email rather than through the website. Their process is completely unclear IF ANYONE ELSE HAS HAD THEIR DEPOSIT TAKEN UNFAIRLY, I AM IN PROCESS OF TAKING A GROUP ACTION AGAINT THE DPS AND MARTIN AND CO

Dear Waheed Zaman, You agreed to an adjudicator with the DPS, independent from yourselves and Martin & Co, to make a decision on the cost of cleaning that was incurred on how you left the property at the end of your tenancy. The independent adjudicator decided based on the photographic evidence that Martin & Co were right in having the property cleaned after you left. I am sorry that the adjudicator did not give you the decision you hoped to receive, but if you leave a property with a soiled toilet and body hair throughout the property, when it was brand new and professionally cleaned before the start of your tenancy, then it is justified that these cleaning issues are rectified. Leaving a negative review when an independent adjudicator decides against your expectations however is not justified.

They do not reply to you. They also tell fibs about property being available. If they decide they don't like you they lie and say a property isn't available but it is.
