One of my friend had a miserable experiance. His apartment was very cold due to single glass windows. When he approached agency to fix that, instead of fixing his problem they started arguing that they have shown that earlier and not going to fix it. He had to leave flat in 10-15 days due to cold and they didn't return a penny to him. Advise to new talents :- Please check small thing before you pay a single penny. Advice to Agency :- You could have fixed/assured to fix the issues.NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value

Dear Niteesh, Really sorry to hear that your friend have had bad experience with us, your friend and his partner have already left reviews separately, we have replied to them, we can assure you we have done everything we could to resolve the issue, landlord has been renting this property for good few years and never had such complain before therefore did not see any reason to change the windows to double glazed, your friend's tenancy started on 19th April 2021 Spring, due to the required notice their vacating date was 4th of June, they only paid rent until 4th of June 2021, they were paid back the remaining deposit. Please feel free to ask your friend to contact office if they require more details.

Don't even deserve a single star review.Totally unprofessional and unsupportive staff. Had a worst experience with this agency as a Tenant during Covid situation. Inspite of reporting big serious issues in the flat (windows leakage, Boiler breakdown, etc) which was causing serious health issues the agency didn't respond at all and totally neglected it. Instead the agency blamed us for everything when we went in the office to discuss the matter after not replying to our emails. Avoid this agency and look out for professional ones in the market and those who really care for you.

We believe your complaint is with regards to the request you put in for the landlord to get double glazed windows in the flat right after you moved in. Please be advised that the flat was advertised stating single glazed windows, therefore this was not approved by landlord. As you expressed your intentions to move out due to this, you were advised to give appropriate notice. Forever had issues. Never had a response from the office. They're quick to take your cash though. I left a flat three months ago and still haven't received my deposit back. Nightmare. Don't bother using them

Dear Harry, I’m sorry to hear you have had a frustrating experience, but I really appreciate you bringing this issue to my attention so that I can clarify this to you. As this was a tenancy changeover, the agreement amongst yourselves was for the new tenant to pay your share of the deposit directly to yourself. You, being the lead tenant were emailed by the SDS for the deposit to be transferred over to the new tenancy, which you approved at the time. If the new tenant hasn’t paid you the share of your deposit, I can approach to the tenant as we have communication thread to remind her the agreement, if you are not satisfied with the outcome please get in touch with our Martin & Co Glasgow West End Branch.

Honestly the worst agency I ever had to deal with. Staff were unbelievably incompetent, as well as lazy and dismissive. I was renting flat a couple of years ago, just round the corner from them, we had bed bugs and severe damp and mould. The agency was informed straight away, and merely told us that we were lying. When, after at least one month, finally managed to get one of the agents to come and inspect the flat, we were again told that there were no bed bugs (despite proof of numerous bites), and that the complaint regarding the damp and mould could not be dealt with, as this was a structural issue, and that there was absolutely no way of being able to fix the problem. After thankfully leaving the property, there were false complaints from agents about how the flat was kept, and accusations of smoking in the flat, despite no proof at all. It took a while for us to argue our case with Safety Deposit Scotland, as they were asking for all of our deposit. In the end, they only received £50 of our £1000 deposit. I would avoid this organisation at all costs. Go for a more professionally ran agency, I'm sure there are plenty that are above this monstrosity.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Hi Ben, I hope you are keeping well, I am really sorry to hear that you are not happy about the service you received from our office two years ago, your tenancy ended in 2018, during tenancy we always do our best to communicate with all parties very effectively to resolve the issues, soon after your tenancy ended we returned property to landlord we are no longer managing this property. Because property is archived therefore we don't have much maintenance details in hand. It is not excuse but generally speaking it was ground floor flat, three people staying there, if not aired properly the dampness and mould arise very quickly, deposit claim was based on landlord's assessment on final check out report. Once again I am really sorry for your dissatisfaction, please feel free to contact us if you need to discuss more.
