Our experience with Lovelles has been very poor, we have been requesting work to be done on the house since we moved in nearly 9 years ago, and finally after contacting the council things have started to move, albeit very slowly. We have been without bathing facilities for over 3 weeks now and no end date to the repairs in sight. Not happy!

As new-ish owners of the business (18 months) I can only comment on the recent issues that you have experienced. Having had a look at the account, I can see that certainly has taken a longer time than we would have hoped. Unfortunately the replacement of the wet room has involved a number of different parties and also required unexpected additional repairs and a period of 'drying out' that has contributed to the time taken. Would not recommend this agency to landlords wanting to rent out their properties. The flat above me is rented via Lovelle Bacon's to a nightmare neighbour who has made my life a living hell. The staff are very friendly when you call in to complain, but nothing actually gets done. This tenant has even tried to follow me in his car, resulting in the police getting involved and me feeling terrified in my own home and still Lovelle's have not acted. I have now done a land registry search to find out who owns this flat and if Lovelle Bacons continue to fail to act, then I will be contacting them directly to complain about this situation.

Very poor and little or no help when trying to find a flat to rent. Viewing times are in the daytime and few and far between. Viewings are cancelled at the very last minute. Information is promised and does not materialise.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

Applied for several properties in cleethorpes area, we will put you on the list for viewing, three days property is let with absolutely no contact for a viewing. Reason? Am disabled and unable to work!!!!! Disgusting work practicesNegativeProfessionalism

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and I would like to clarify our processes here. We use an online booking system for people to register and view properties. We currently have a number that are not yet ready to view due to either having works or still being tenanted therefore once you are registered, we keep in touch via text and phone. We are experiencing a very high demand for our properties currently and this system allows us to communicate with all interested parties. Once a property is ready to view then all interested parties are notified at the same time and are then able to book a day/time to view a property. We do not allow people to apply for a tenancy without the property being viewed first as this helps to keep our process fair and transparent. Therefore I will politely disagree on your point that you have 'applied for several properties' as this will not have been the case. Tried renting with lovelle Bacons, constantly felt like I was left out of the loop. They never returned the phone calls they said they would and never updated me when something happened with my application. It felt like they didn’t want me to actually get a property through them. Would not recommend unless you want to be let down and constantly confused as to what’s going on.

With you referring to us as Lovelle Bacons, this incident must have been some time ago as we no longer trade as this, it’s been just Lovelle since the new owners took over and rebranded the company some time ago now. We have changed our structure completely in house since the handover so whilst we cannot change the past and we are deeply sorry you feel they way you do, you should never receive this service from us again.
