Currently renting with this agency and the communication is appalling. Been waiting for call back numerous times never got one. Been expecting to receive a letter but yet again never received one. Currently not even in the property due to it causing health issues and even though we’re happy to provide a doctors notes proving the flats caused me to be in hospital we’ve been told we’re not allowed to leave the tenancy and apparently the flats ‘fine’. Sam who is the director has spoken down to us many times only really seemed bothered when we said they could keep the money we paid upfront. Will happily be taking legal action because everyone here just doesn’t care or listen unless money is involved. Also apparently sent our letter to the landlord then turned round and said they know he’ll say no so haven’t bothered🤔. If you want to be lied to and made ill go with lovelle.👍🏻
Where too begin with Lovelle, as me and my partner are first time renters we thought we’d give lovelle a try the reviews weren’t great, but we thought we check it out for ourselves. There have been countless problems with the flat. I’ve been promised countless and I mean countless calls back, can safely say I’ve had maybe 2 or 3 calls back from lovelle from March up until the time of writing this review. The calls I’ve had with the company director Sam felt like I was being belittled and not taken seriously. I had too ring up too actually find out we’d got the property we had applied for. Due too all of these circumstances I’ve been under a great deal of stress. It is a shame, it’s actually a real shame we really thought we’d have a really pleasant first time renting experience. But sadly lovelle ruined my expectations on this regard. It’s a shame money is more important than the well-being of tenants. I’d avoid this company like the plague!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

horrendous is the only word I can use to describe my experience with this estate agents. From day one, the woman who I believe to be the manger was patronising towards me and my mum. This was my first time moving out with my boyfriend and his friend. She didn’t want us to move into the property, because there would be three young people living in the house. However, we’d already met the landlord and he was more than happy to have us rent out one of his properties. Day one of moving out, they gave us the wrong key and insisted they’d given us the right one and it was just that we wasn’t turning the key properly. We reported several problems with the house such as bad damp and mould and they never reported this to the landlord. They messed us about on three occasions saying that someone was going to come view the condition of the property, three different occasions and no one showed and resulted in a loss of money due to taking time off work eating for someone to show. We would t have minded but no one ever contacted us letting us know no one was going to show. Finally on the 4th occasion, someone showed and was really impressed with the condition of the house, just couldn’t believe the damp and mould hadn’t yet been looked at so he took pictures and said he’ll report it and we should hear from someone soon. We rang occasionally hoping for answers but months passed and still the problem wasn’t resolved. We were paying for a house/ a service, we were upholding our end of the tenancy agreement yet the estate agents were getting away with not upholding there’s. Eventually, we’d had enough so we rang the estate agents asking if there’s any chance we could leave the one year contract early because of something to do with a six month break out clause and they informed us we could. I’d say about a week later, we received a latter including the date in which out tenancy agreement ends which was just in a about a months time. We arranged and paid for furniture removal and one of us tenants had sorted another property out and paid out a deposit. We all moved out to only receive a letter saying we couldn't leave the contract early and that we’ve got to continue paying until the one year contract runs out. We questioned this, however they tried sending us the previous letter out again, this time they'd removed the date, luckily we kept the pervious letter which stated the end of tenancy agreement date they agreed to on the phone. We went into the estate agents querying their mistake and they denied everything. So we asked to listen to the phone call because it states they record all phone calls. However they couldn’t find it and it had been deleted. We only later found out the woman who was suppose to get up this phone call for us and told us she couldn’t, was the mother of the girl who made the mistake of telling us we could move out early and that we wouldn’t have to make anymore payments. In result of this, we had to continue paying for rent and council tax for another 4 months. They were never interested in helping us. If they’d have stated to us we could leave the property but would have to continue payment, we wouldn’t have been daft enough to leave the property. In fact they said the opposite, we could leave the contract early and wouldn’t have to continue paying rent or council tax because of a “six month break out clause” she stated. After my experience with Lovell bacons, I would never go through this estate agents again even if it meant me getting my dream home, never mind recommending them to anyone else.
BOOKED THEM FOR A VIEWING. THEY NEVER TURNED UP Thanks.
They are a very poor company and do not look after their landlords. Please stay clear of them. Hunters in Gainsbourgh are the Best by far sold my property in 3-4 months.
Was purchasing a property through them, the property was made sold subject to contract, my solicitor was getting on completing the sale and then they allowed another offer to be accepted. One big waste of time and energy. Cameron showed very little empathy and Lucy who dealt with the sale never bothered to even call me. The worst experience I have had buying a property.
Absolute awful company I could go on forever but haven't got all week
