Property listed 24 hours ago. Made contact to put an application in for the property to be very rudely and sharply told I’m not allowed to as I have not viewed the property and other people “have put the effort in to.” Advised I’m in Cornwall on holiday and I’m unable to view it for the next 2 weeks regardless, however I have the credit score and the resource to put an application and deposit down. Advised I don’t need to view as I’m aware of the layout and I’m familiar with the house. Agent on the phone was ridiculously short with me again, ignoring all I had said and told me it’s not feasible for me to put an application in and I “should try listening” Made the agent aware that I’ve been applying for properties for 2 months now with no success, desperate to apply for a property for my daughter and I. Ignored and told I’m not welcome to apply. Absolutely terrible service, rude and needlessly cold. Won’t be making contact with Myrings again.

Dear Brett, Our sincere apologies that you feel the service has not been up to standard. Unfortunately, the landlord of the property you enquired about has a lot of viewings already booked in, and they have stipulated that they would like all viewings to go ahead before making any decision on a new tenant. We have instruction to ensure any potential tenant has viewed the property before taking an application. We can sympathise with you, as we do appreciate it is difficult for you to view when you are not in the area and that you have been looking for some time. As we hope you can appreciate, the lettings market in this price bracket is extremely busy and we are taking several applications per property. Your credit score or ability to proceed was not discussed and would not be questioned at this stage. Our team members would also not say ‘…you should try listening…’ no matter who is on the call or what the call is regarding. We can assure you that we pride ourselves on our customer service and apologise if you feel you have not been treated in a professional manner. Put up a sign in our garden without permission (our property not for sale / let), didn't respond to our complaints, left a big hole behind knocking over several of our plants. Very unprofessional.

Hello Jacob, we are very sorry that you have been upset and inconvenienced by one of our boards being erected in the communal front gardens of the flat you are renting. We have to take instructions from our vendor, and they requested a for sale board to help in the marketing which I hope you appreciate. However, as soon as your email was received, we did instruct our board contractor to remove the board and make good of any mess created which we were assured all was ok. Need to learn customer service, enquired about a property and was told I am not a serious buyer. Simon Myring was rude to my wife and put the phone down. Disgusting attitude Towards people. Obviously spend my money elsewhere now.NegativeProfessionalism

During the pandemic and in fact any time, it is so sad that people take to the keyboard to abuse small family businesses that are doing all they can. We try our very best to ensure we accommodate all buyers, but currently it is not possible for clients to view properties that are not yet even on the market. After 7 months on the market with Myrings, we decided to move to another agent. The day we were due to sign the contract with a new agent, Myrings called to say they had an interested buyer. We were told the buyer was a cash buyer, no mortgage needed. On this basis, we accepted a lower offer. Further down the line, we found he needed a mortgage. All through the process, Myrings were poor at communicating. They brought inappropriate buyers to view the house. They lied about our buyer being a cash buyer. As the paying client, we never felt that Myrings were working for us, more for the buyer.

The problem arose because of your onward purchase rather than your buyers position as the sale still went through quickly. I do not trust this agency at all very rude unprofessional staff , for some reason they all lie.

I do not trust this person. Not known to our agency and has never viewed anything with us or even had any dealings with Myrings. He has written 14 (F O U R T E E N) bad reviews all over the WORLD, from Brighton, Kingston, to Quebec ALL ON THE SAME DAY!!!! So disappointing - reported to Google!
