Really disappointed about the quality of the services. Took more than a month to get a response on our bond request.

I would never recommend this agency to anyone. The Leeds agency took over 2 months to respond to our request to get our deposit payed back, and we've been lied over the phone on many occasions by their rep Isobel Kamiya, who's only clicked the button to process our request after we announced that we'd take it up with a solicitor. 'Thank you very much for your services!!!' Never again!

Shady estate agent-very mistrustful from the get go, not nice to work with. Made me miss out on a flat I really loved, played a game even though he said directly that he wouldn't. As a potential buyer I will be avoiding this company in future due to this particular unprofessional agent. Very disappointed in Martin & Co

They are not stellar in the service they have provided. Still waiting for furniture and internet one month after moving into flat. continually promise that things will be done and not keeping them. I would not rely on what they say they will do.

Ha that's a complete lie he had moved in to a dirty flat and no inventory has been done at all! Can you confirm that this tennant will receive his fully deposit back as we will clean it ourselves professionally?

Student housing in Leeds

Well, had massive problems about deposit, well at the start of the tenancy there was issue with the damp which called multiple times, not much was done, at the end lost all £900 deposit, gutted. They said its our fault, how ?! When dealing with deposit already three months in not an answer. Will pick up any smallest pull on carpet, take photographs before to prove them wrong.

(Please email or call us on 0113 2457175) Your deposit should not take 3 months to return, and we do not have any deposits on-going at the moment that are claiming the full amount as you have advised. It is very unusual that the full deposit is needed unless there is a lot of damage to the property or rent arrears on the account, but I would need to inspect your original inventory and checkout report to be able to help. As a parent of one of martin and co's tenants I found the whole thing from start to finish a total fiasco, unfriendly, unhelpful and a total waste of time. Staff unreliable, never return phone calls, the so called property manager Mr Gondal is about as useful as a wet tissue with false promises of calling back which never happened and trying to put a complaint in to who ever is the owner is an impossible task as you are met with a frozen blockade. This company is a total waste of time, posh offices but a second rate service, dont trust them and especially dont leave a bond as you have no chance of getting it back, im sure there is something untoward going on with monies here? Stay Away and go to a trustworthy letting agent.

Unfortunately deposits can be a contentious area of tenancies, we do however register deposits with the government backed scheme (The Deposit Protection Service), we use Independent Inventory Clerks to conduct all inventories and checkouts, and do provide tenants with full details of any deductions we suggest from their deposit. Where possible we do refund deposits back in full to outgoing tenants, regrettably this is not always possible. We are continuously trying to improve ourselves and hope that by having a conversation with you we will be able to address your concerns and make the necessary changes to our business.
