Liz was always very professional, kind and promptly solving any problem we´ve had at the property. After one year at the property we need to do some refurbishment and Liz was an important mediator between us and the landord; also advising us where to source materials at good price for the refurbishment. During two year We´ve had to change tenats and Liz was very helpfull with all the referencing and payment process.

Pleasant, open and responsive letting agent

My family spent five years (the first five years of my son’s life) in a Stonehouse Estates-run flat, For most of this time our principal Stonehouse contact was Liz. Having previously rented in London, I’m used to sometimes having to deal with devious shysters, vacuous charmers and outright headcases working for letting agencies. Liz (always affable, personable and straight-dealing) was reassuringly different from this. She was, and is, a good collaborator with tenants as regards getting things arranged and fixed; never aggressive or defensive, taking note of requests, and being honest about what could and couldn’t be delivered. If she was sometimes unable to comply with our requests (this was usually due to the landlord’s budget restrictions), she did so gently, politely and fairly. On those occasions when Liz seemed a little less well briefed on the full details and workings of our flat (in fairness, this was probably due to Stonehouse having to keep an eye on so many different ones), she was open to receiving, discussing and acting on any new or missing information which I could provide, and would remember that information for the future. Crucially, in what can be a pretty fraught relationship (between tenant and letter), I saw Liz as a good person to work with. This is perhaps an under-rated quality in the relationship between tenant and letter, but it’s a vitally important one, especially in London. I can’t remember us ever having had a falling-out or a tense moment during five years of dealing with each other. I’d be cheerful to let a property from her again.

Extremely helpful and professional to tenants

We recently found and rented a flat through Stonehouse Estates, our agent was Despina. She was very helpful and professional, signing the tenancy agreement and dealing with documents etc. was all made very easy. They also arranged for all utilities to be transferred to our names which was really helpful.
