We are a multi-landlord and have entrusted our Luton portfolio to Lenwells for more than a decade. Their lettings team are effective at finding suitable tenants and most years our occupancy rate is close to 100%, with negligible void periods between tenants. This takes hard work and enthusiasm from the team. Their management team carry out regular inspection visits/reports during a tenancy and provide a full report when a tenant vacates, arranging whatever is required to ready the property for the next tenant. They are proactive in notifying of changes in legislation and actions required to become compliant, they arrange on our behalf any repairs necessary, coordinating access between contractor and tenant. We find the layout of the regular monthly statements simple and easy to decipher. It would be unrealistic to say that over the years we’ve only had good experiences, but the test of any relationship is how unhappiness is dealt with and this I believe is one of their strengths: if things go wrong, Andrew Schroder is always available to provide a solution or dispense solid advice on dealing with tenant issues.

Abbey Hartwig was the only agent in my area who did any real work, finding multiple properties for me, (as opposed to me contacting estate agents regarding properties that I had found on their books). This was unique! She replied to every phone call, and responded to every email; again, unique. In particular, Abbey went above and beyond liaising with a housing association and a government body regarding a help-to-buy-scheme, having success with the housing association. It felt very much like a personal service, in what otherwise appears to be an impersonal digital industry. It was a pleasure. I cannot commend her or thank her enough!

For the most part I am generally very happy with Lenwell otherwise I would not have stuck with them as long as I have. Occasional frustrations with communication but usually put right quickly when I bring it to their attention. They have some very nice and efficient staff in both Management and Lettings and one or two who are exceptional!
