Our sale was a difficult one, selling to someone in Hong Kong. The first buyer pulled out and l felt we could have been informed a lot sooner as we were constantly chasing for info.. it's the not knowing, reducing the price and long term payments of an empty property that made this sale bitter sweet. A lot of the time it was hard to get hold of anyone. We have another property to sell later in the year and will use Ryder and Dutton again, this time hoping it goes a lot smoother
Average service provided over the phone.
Unfortunately selling my home was far more stressful than necessary throughout the process. At the start things were going well up until the point when my house was sold subject to contract. I had stressed numerous times from the beginning that I did not want to find myself in the situation that my house would be sold when I hadn't found something else and that I would need to leave any sooner than that, but I have found myself doing exactly that. It often felt as though Ryder and Dutton was working at the best interests of my buyer rather than myself as the seller despite the high fees they charged to have them sell my home. It might be that their services are fine as long as you're not part of a chain, however because of my experience I cannot in good faith recommend them if you're planning on selling a home as part of a chain.NegativeValue
Personally I wouldn't rate them so highly. The staff I interacted with all seem young, inexperienced and only moderately efficient.

As first-time buyers, we had an extremely frustrating experience with this estate agency. From the start, communication was incredibly poor. We were kept in the dark about important developments—specifically, the sellers pulling out of a property they were interested in. Shockingly, we weren’t even informed until they had already pulled out of a second one! Despite being reassured multiple times that the sellers were committed to moving, this clearly wasn’t the case. Whenever we called for updates, we were constantly passed around and promised callbacks from the person handling our case, which never happened. We had to chase them repeatedly for even the simplest of updates, and getting a response to an email was nearly impossible. After waiting patiently for six months, the property was eventually taken off the market, leaving us feeling like our time and hopes had been completely wasted. Overall, the lack of professionalism and communication made this an extremely stressful and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this estate agency to anyone.
Had a terrible time with ryder and Ditton middleton. Staff very very rude. We put an offer in on a property. We kept asking how our offer went we were then told by a staffember the vendor went with a young family. So our offer had been refused based on age which is age discrimination I would have thought. It is not a problem someone else getting a property but when the estate agent laughs at you and tells you it was based on age then it is age discrimination. When challenged the estate agent he became very rude. I would not deal with Ryder and Dutton again and certainly not use them or spend my money with them.
