Totally unprofessional, I agree with the previous comments. Do not use this estate agent, period!

I can confirm this is not a fake review, I have had dealings with this letting agents. I preferred not to write any damaging statements, the 1 star does suffice. However I can go into detail if you prefer. Edit; fake review comment from estate agents was deleted.

I had a booking to view a property in Newark with a confirmation email, we get the train from Lincoln to be there in good time. Nobody comes so I decided to call the office. The lady I spoke to was rude and she makes me feel like it was my fault. After 25 min of waiting, a lady agent comes. She even doesn't apologize for delayed and she was very unfriendly at all. The house looks good but me and my wife decide to not collaborate with this kind of people. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! They are unprofessional and the company is a joke!

Unfortunately there was a mix up on the appointment time, and our representative was 10 minutes late for the viewing - for which she apologised. The reviewer then arranged to meet us at another of our properties, and didn't show up or cancel. Unfortunate experience all round.

They are advertising a flat to rent ASAP saying its ready to view... Been trying to view this property for a month now. I first Contact them on a Wednesday they said they can let me view the flat that night at 7.30pm I couldn't do that as was unable to get there within the hour they said the next possible time to view it was the following Friday... 9 days I did think that was long but the flat looked lovely. Waited untill the Friday morning for them to email canceling and rearranging for the following week. On the Tuesday at 6pm Tuesday comes and same again but this time they say rearaage for Thursday at 6pm again a massive inconvenience.... Less than 12 hour before the viewing they cancel again... I ring up as I'm frustrated that I've turned properties down while waiting plus just how unprofessional they have been... And all I got was a smug rude woman, who thought she was all high and mighty making excuses for the poor service I've received....terrible service all round

Thank you for your review. As we explained today - there has been a death in the family of the gentleman who was conducting the viewings. We have apologised profusely and offered to re-arrange, but this was not acceptable.

Unbelievably poor letting agents ....I agree with someone else , they seemed to side with the " dodgy " landlords , and ignore the tenants claims.... That indicates to us that they are only interested in getting their money , and not providing a safe and proper rental service for the tenants.. The worst letting agents I have ever had the misfortune to deal with...

After renting a property from them for over 4 years, in my opinion I feel they have lost their integrity since LetIt were taken over. Failure to resolve issues in a timely manner is the least of the issues. I do not reccomend this letting agent. Like others that have posted here I found the staff to be overly aggressive, money grabbing, ill informed and rude. As a landlord myself I would hate to think my tennants had been subjected to this kind of management. Just my opinion but avoid this company at all costs. I completely dispute the response given to this message. To support my argument of lack of integrity the only 5 star rating for this company is from an employee! You choose who you believe. Ok so having been called out staff are admitting to posting as customers a bit misleading. Not to mention their lawyer posing as a customer. Makes you think eh?

Thank you for your review. To clarify - we are still Let It Ltd, trading as Whitegates. I'm sorry that you feel that you've been unfairly treated. Unfortunately your landlord was unhappy with the condition in which your property was returned to us, and 2 independently sourced quotes for cleaning the premises were in excess of the deposit amount held. Tenants are invited to provide their own quotes if they choose. We keep no money at all from deposit deductions and all funds deducted are used to restore the premises to a clean and habitable condition and any disputed deductions are adjudicated by the government deposit scheme.
