I did not get a checkin time until a day before I moved in. This caused me lot of inconvenience in planning my move. Despite repeated calls to the agent all I got was that I will receive a call back by end of the day. But they did not call me back even once for giving me a checkin time, Apart from this issue everything else went smooth.
James Burgess was polite at the beginning but due to an apparent miscommunication between two agencies (Elliot Lee and Maple Estates) he became very frustrated. He stated that he travelled “very far” to view my property and I explained that I was not informed about a viewing, therefore I could not allow him in. As he left he muttered the following words under his breath “f***ing hell”. I found that to be incredibly unprofessional and rude. I am quite disappointed with Elliot Lee and would not recommend them at all.
I had an extremely bad experience dealing with this Estate Agent Service. Firstly they charge you a hefty £1000 in the of Move Managment Service(MMS) but there is no service really. I think its just a way to make money from the buyers. They said there will be a dedicated person to deal with my purchase as a part of the MMS but whenever I needed them to arrange subsequent visits, it was very hard to get one. The Agents didn't help me sort out the issue during the completion of sale when the Seller left a lot of rubbish in the loft. I have bought a property form another local agent earlier and I had a much better experience dealing with them. And they didn't charge any fee. I would never deal with this estate agent again unless I am madly in love with the property they are selling.

Not at all happy with the service and they charge more than other agents for referencing process. Lacks communication and not good at admin level work.
I recently went to view a property advertised by Elliot Lee in Wembley. The text messages & right move said £265,000 but on the day of open house the price was £280,000. The price cannot increase in a matter of 3 days. I applied for a mortgage and he valuation of the property came back as £250,000 which was £35,000 less than my offer of £285,000. I was advised by my mortgage valuation team and legal representative that Elliott lee had sold a flat in the same block for £245,700 a few weeks ago.
Elliot Lee are possibly the worst estate agent I have ever come across. From misleading/incorrect information when enquiring about a property to the frankly incompetent letting management team, I would avoid at all costs. They forget the tenant actually pays to live in the property. Customer service is shocking, communication is very poor as is the attitude of the staff. I had to contact a member of the executive management to resolve issues via LinkedIn to get any notice taken (this too was painful), and use the Property Ombudsman Service to ensure I was being treated correctly. If you have to use them . . . get everything in writing!
I reported a problem 5 weeks ago and no communication from Elliot Lee. There is water damage to the property and to our belongings and still no solution. They ignore emails and when you phone, they say "the contractor will phone you back" and no one ever calls. We also had a broken back door a few months ago and it was unable to lock and Elliot Lee took months to fix it. Only when we said that it is a safety risk, did they tend to it.
