Hi Ben, thank you for your review. Having spoken at length with my colleague Emma, I called and spoke with your partner last week and reiterated the conversation you had had with Emma. She advised i would be best to speak with you. Unfortunately you have not called me back. So to clarify... 1. We did not manage the property and had provided a tenant find only service to your landlord, which you were made aware of prior to signing for the property. 2. I have personally visited the property prior to re-letting it recently and could see no sign of damp in the property at all (the mould you described to Emma is usually due to not ventilating or heating the property properly or wiping down condensation) 3. We cannot comment in relation to your landlords intentions regarding your deposit or their threats of legal action against you. We can only advise you to speak with the DPS and seek legal advice, which is what Emma did but you would not listen 4. I too am ex forces and from what Emma has informed me you didn't exactly speak to her very nicely, when all she was trying to do was explain the above to you. I strongly disagree with your comments and refer you to my email dated 12/8/15 in response to your complaint letter, the summary of my investigation and reply is below: "In summary, I can see that there has been a few issues throughout your tenancy. However, each point has been picked up and dealt with appropriately. I do not believe the service you have had from Martin & Co is where any blame lies, more the neighbours causing you stress due to their noise complaints, the landlord not providing a second set of keys quickly enough and your failure to return the property as it was given to you.
