Been trying to contact John Sheppard in Solihull for 3 days to try and view a property. Phoned and emailed with no response. I feel sorry for anyone who is trying to sell their property through these people as it seems impossible to arrange a viewing!

Spoke to a lady who was going to arrange a viewing for me and was told I was going to be called back after 4PM. This never happened, sent an email via Rightmove and still no response. Time wasters.

What a shambles of an organisation. The right hand has no idea what the left is doing. If you really have to deal with them, ask for Senka. At least you will have some hope of a positive outcome.

Avoid by all cost. We rented our property via John Shepherd last year and the tenant defaulted the rent right from the next due rent. We received no support from John Shepherd. Had to fight a legal battle to get the property back and that too in a depleted state. John Shepherd hasnt released the security deposit to us despite written several times to them that the property needs repairs and maintenance as it is just not fit to be rented again without investing considerably in the maintenance.

We have let our property through Solihull Lettings office. They never replied to emails or phone calls. Very unprofessional estate agents in the area. They take at least 4 weeks to respond to emails. Tenants screwed up the house and they failed to identify this in their checks. Now i am very happy managing property myself and saving 12% of the rent. A company that fails to communicate effectively with prospective clients. My son’s application, (which needed a guarantor) had been accepted and was being processed. An issue was encountered with the guarantor paperwork which was rectified and acknowledged via email as being successful but the company pulled the plug on the application within 24hrs of notifying of the issue. ( he was 2wks into the application) My son ( aged 18) is in-between accommodation and was staying in a hotel in the interim so that he could continue to work and earn money whilst waiting to move in on the date which had been arranged. Up until 24hrs ago he was completely unaware of any issue. He is now homeless and potentially has to leave his job unless he can find a place to live within a week. My son called to investigate to be met by an obnoxious member of staff. A terrible experience with this company. Landlords use someone else and tenants don’t waste your time.

Have no concern in wasting people's time!
