I am very annoyed as I had a viewing today when I called whitegates jo answered I explained that I had a viewing at 5.15 but she wouldn't listen and kept telling me about the last appointment booked I then explained I had an email confirming what time my booking was and she still did not acknowledge it she kept repeating the last booking acting that I was stupid and didnt know what I was talking about, until I read out the email and gave her the name of the individual who had booked it. This is absolutely appalling behaviour from an older women who has worked at the company for many years, it wont correct the mistake that was made by whitegate by mocking a potential buyer. Jo you really need to sort out your attitude because it is disgusting to treat someone the way you did!!!

I am really sorry about this, unfortunately there seems to have been an error within our system. We will look into it to ascertain why this happened. Our accompanied viewer was at the property until 5.15pm and had been there since 4.30pm, the diary showed the last appointment at 5pm. Our diarised system must not have updated at the point of you booking the appointment for some reason and we will be taking this up with our IT providers. All we can do is apologise for any inconvenience caused, our system did not show you as being booked in at 5.15pm and this is unfortunately what Jo was working from and in no way was mocking you.

If I had a chance I would never ever use this agency again. We tried to put an offer on the house but the agent played the game with us saying one day that they had on offer already for 200 then another day he said they had an offer for 190. I think he tried to see if he will get more bookings on the next weekend. Finally he accepted our offer and sent confirmation by email on Friday night. But on Sunday night he sent another email saying that vendor has accepted the higher offer. How can you trust this agency after that? Also even after showing our interest on the property I had to call him few times per day .

I couldn’t find a registration of your name in the South Leeds Branch and we don’t currently have any properties for sale that received offers around the £200k mark, so I am convinced you may have left this negative review for the wrong branch/company. Absolutely awful estate agents. I wouldn’t advice anyone to go with them. I was completely in love with the flat I rented with them and this is the only reason I stayed for a long period of time. They would take days if not weeks to respond to any issue within the flat (such as broken doors, leaking showers or broken flooring). They would often not communicate to each other within the office regarding when people had been spoken to, to be able to have the issues fixed. I spent over 6 months with a broken door lock. I had to chase multiple times regarding work being done on the flat. It got to stage I only communicated via email then there could not be any discrepancy as to what information had been passed. There were no emergency numbers provided and when the flat floods due to an old washing machine leaking on a weekend, this is not ideal or proper management of a property. After I ended the tenancy they left a voicemail stating the time and date of an inspection (which would have been charged for if this was missed) when I had not lived in the flat for over 2 months. If I could leave a 0 star rating if I would. Wouldn’t ever use them to rent or buy.

Hi Sophie. I am really disappointed to hear that you were unhappy with the service that you received. I can see that it did seem to take an awfully long time to deal with a problem with your door. In part this was due to us being unable to contact to the landlord for long periods. I can see that there was a leak to the washing machine door seal which was fixed within two days of you reporting this to us and various other repairs which were dealt with within a matter of days. If the office is closed for more than a day (ie, over Christmas) then out of hours emergency contact numbers are left on our answering service and we always give tenants advice when moving in as to what to do in case of an emergency. I am sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with the service that you received from us but I do not feel that this reflects the service that our tenants generally receive from us. Absolutely shocking customer service. Booked valuations for the sale of a portfolio in the Leeds area (two weeks in advance) and was told the Director would look after me. Mirek (that’s who I was told was the Director) arrived late, then had the audacity to say “it doesn’t matter, he’s late” and when questioned as to why, he says “he left the office late”. What a joke. I would recommend all investors stay away from them.
