Rent from these people at your own risk. They offer the worst services ,send contractors into your apartment without your permission and when you complain they turn against you.I was forced to move out their property as I could not deal with the rudeness and poor treatment from staff. They started refurbishing my apartment with contractors running up and down the scaffolding and because I work nights,I had to start sleeping in a friends place during the day.And whenever I complained to them, they got rude.Even after I finally moved out, they completely kept my deposit silent and tried working with the landlord to retain the whole deposit. Now they try change their name from Madley thinking they can run away from all the bad deeds they have done.Use them at you own risk
this is the worst agency they don't service houses we live 2 weeks without water never go to them you will always have housing problems!
Scamming letting agent! Landlord be aware! This letting agent will take your annual letting fee in advance and will not refund if the tenancy ends early! We have let Madley manage our flat in Bermondsey and the single AST tenancy was between April 2022 to July 2023 over the length over 14.5 months. However, they have charged us 24 months of letting fee in advance. When the tenancy ends, they would not give the refund for the remaining period. Landlords stay away from these scammers!
The old Tesco self checkouts are more competent and worked faster than the employees at Madley. The best thing you will ever do is not rent through these people. Do yourself a favour a steer clear from these people. Just check through these reviews and count how many are made by people who have only ever made one review. And ignore the response which says I’m not in their system. I very unfortunately do live in one of their properties.
Currently renting through Madley property. Agents are agreeable enough to talk to, if you can get in touch. We've been waiting on repairs for months and emails to our agents are continuously ignored. Also unclear who our main agent is, we are often contacted by new employees. Sounds like an understaffing issue. We are not given contact details for our landlord so are stuck paying full rent to an agency and landlord that do not follow through with their duties. When we moved into the flat we were met with dirt (food on the floor, white walls greased with yellow marks etc), black mold and old pieces of wood, furniture and flooring left behind by an unknown source. We also didn't have hot water for the first three weeks and had to shower at friends houses. We received no compensation for the state of the flat, and continued to pay full rent. The leftover furniture was finally removed about halfway through our tenancy. Prior to be moving in we were also told all white goods would be included in the property, I filmed the viewing and caught this on camera, but when we moved in we had no freezer?? I'm currently sitting through the sound of grinding repair work in the flat downstairs, which tenants were not given notice of. This work has been going on for a week, with no indication of an end date. Working from home, this has been somewhat stressful. They're militant with their referencing, which is done through yet another third party. This whole process was incredibly stressful, expect to handover screenshots and bank statements - privacy not a concern for this company. All in all, I would avoid in future due to the severe communication issues we've faced with Madley. Update: Communication issues with main agents continue, however we appreciated being contacted by Jaimie who offered his apologies & vouchers as a gesture of goodwill.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Value

I did not believe such agents existed in this age any more. Each time I call the property ready for view. Each time I walk in to office the property mysteriously "just gone". I hope others read and take note of what they think of other race. Didgusting.

Estate agency, rethought We offer all the services you'd expect from an estate agent, and we love what we do, but we're not like other estate agents.
