Tottenham branch is managed by Azid, who is toxic and extremely rude. I would not recommend using their services because of him. The rest of the staff are lovely. Ellis and Co also dont have an acceptable complaints policy either.

Extremely rude, dishonest and unprofessional staff especially Azid who is the director of the company. He completely make up things and lie to you. They took so long to sort our deposit out. When we inquired they sent email saying that we will get full deposit back and it will be sent to us in couple of days time. After few days when we didn't receive any deposit , we inquired again and they said they need to deduct money from our deposit. When we denied and said we were sent email for full deposit back they said it was a mistake and Azid was extremely rude on phone rather then being apologising. He consider himself a landlord rather then a facilitator. They do not send any request to landlords and decide themselves. Azid even said to me that he wonder what i do for living as i don't seem capable of negotiating and he hanged phone on me. They don't care for tenants at all. I would not recommend this agency.

Awful staff they are not helpful at all, they prefer landlords over tenants very obviously. Would not recommend working with them. AVOID

Put an offer down on a place with Ellis and Co., which was acknowledged. Then didn't hear back from them for a month until they started sending me adverts for other places. Very strange.

Absolutely awful! If i could give 0 stars i would. Lived in a property for 12 years and the agency always kept the landlords side! Only repainted the property once which was 7 years ago and only had to pay for materials! We fixed everything in the house for free and only asked that he covers material costs which was always an issue. They never do anything in a proper legal way, when we had damp in our house and a professional said we need venting in the bathroom and check pipes under flooring in a bedroom. The agency and landlord did nothing about it and to this day nothing has been fixed. They didn't ask us to move out they just took us to court where they lost the case because they didn't serve the s21 notice! Absolutely horrible agency DO NOT RECOMMEND.

i had so much help from the staff of the Tottenham branch of Ellis and Co. Kutlay was very helpful and delightful took his time to listen to my needs and was a brilliant help when it came to putting my request through to my landlord. Emilia always puts a smile on my face she was very helpful even when i became stuck with some issues with the flat and was very quick to sort things out. i will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I cannot believe Ellisandco

I cannot believe Ellisandco has received awards. Or perhaps this branch is not representative of the overall group. I just know that I have never in my life had such bad service. Although I am a tenant I am looking to buy and will not recommend to anyone to buy through them. I rented my flat last year. It has been an uphill battle all the way. Kay (forgot his surname), the agent who is responsible for looking after tenant's queries does not reply to communications or take weeks (LITERALLY) . I am currently waiting for a leaky window to be fixed that they have failed now to fix for three months. I have had cold showers for two nights in a row. My complaints of the shower have fallen on deaf ears in the past. And let me not start about the continuous fire alarms that went off in the middle of the night and the response times to that last year. It was absolute hell. We don't have an emergency number, communication gets blatantly ignored. I have for instance requested the Multiple Occupancy license number from the agency now for this property. Guess what. No response whatsoever. I think my next step is to go to the newspapers that gave these awards to Ellisandco. Someone should do something about this. Mustafa is the agent that let the property to me when I signed the lease. When I phone him when Kay does not respond, his only response is, is that he does not deal with the maintenance aspect and then hands things over to Kay. Could someone please let me know who I can contact about this. Is Ellisandco a franchise or owner owned agency?
